The Amish Animal Auction! 😃😃 It's all too easy to acquire "too many" chickens. We picked up much of our farming tools/cages/etc. right there, as well as cases of dead ripe fruit. (animal feed; canning) I get it. We arrived in a new state for my husband's job, and had a brand new baby on my hip. After some thought...I purchased seeds and chicks. Just trying to keep us fed while he worked for the rent. (I know, we've all been there for a bit) Wyandottes are so pretty!! The all night canning festival began as soon as we got home from auction...too hot to do it during the daytime anyway. Fruit, veggies, and "less valued" chickens made it directly onto our pantry shelves. That auction was terribly missed during the pandemic. We need to remember these things as our current environment has it's hills and valleys. Cities cannot support hunter/gather and farming communities.
Do you keep your birds in the breeding pens 24 7 or do you swap them to tractors or something every once in a while. Also if they are in there 24 7 what do you feed them and how do you feed them since they're on grate floors?
Just found your channel! How can I find out more about the Amish auctions jordan?? I live 5 hours away from Kansas and I'm definitely interested in picking up some different varieties of chickens and possibly two rabbits within the next month or so...looking forward to hearing from you
Is the permitting for that species of duck only required in your state or is it federal? Also, does that include the mandarin or the other species? I couldn't tell what species you said they were.

Love Buff Brahmas 👍😊
Does the cage not auto sell with the lot, at that sale? Same deal with licensing on wood ducks as the cacklers... but not mandarins 😁

Hi Jordan? Can you please show us the progress of your pigeons on the next video please.
Is there a reason you don't have Pea-fowl? I doutb it's noise as you have Guinea-fowl and Geese.
Did you get chance to go kayak shooting last duck season love your videos I started watching a long time ago with a raccoon trapping video loved it
Do you mind sharing where did you get the plastic floors? Thanks.
Nothing personal but you’re not really set up for wild species of ducks.
The pens are not good for the chickens either
