Ascari Race Resort - The Best Race Track In Spain?

This is a car enthusiast's wild fantasy made real, the Ascari Race Resort is a circuit by the Andalusian mountains near Ronda, a city in the Spanish Province of Málaga in Spain. Completed in 2002, this race track is 5.425 km (3.371 mi) long and many of the full circuit's 26 curves are deliberately reminiscent of famous turns at other tracks around the world. Some of you may already know this track from Gran Turismo 6.
This Formula 1 hotlap is driven in Assetto Corsa with Fernando Alonso using the RSS Formula Hybrid 2023 with F1 2023 Aston Martin AMR23 livery.

Having driven this track thousands of miles in Grand Turismo 6, I approve of this highly. It's my go to workout track and is always good for a healthy payday.
One thirty-two huh? Gotta pull out the old Formula psychosled and see how close I get to the great Alonso! :)

Spain has so many great circuit one of them is circuit de aragon is one of spain underrated circuit it has such a good layout for racing i personally love the layout with the big right hand corner that similar to pouhon, it's too bad it's in the middle of nowhere.

I think that track is FIA grade 1 listed so in theory F1 could go there.

Spain has heaps of good grade 1 circuits, Aragon looks great they should race there 100%

In my opinion, best of Spain is not. The best is Ciudad del Motor de Aragón. But Ascari is a very technical layout. Maybe it's good for free practice. One small note: the tires looked dirty. I don't know if it was the mod, the Aston model, or the video lighting. Anyway, it didn't invalidate the excellent lap at the end. Great video.

It’s got a good flow to the circuit, good for testing skills as well, just not good for racing sadly. Every track must have a few goods and bad you know.

No, it's certainly not the best in Spain. It's difficult to say. Spain doesn't have the ultra banger tracks but if I had to pick one it would be Jerez. The epic things that happened there are unbelievable. Unfortunately, I think Jerez is no longer suitable for the new Formula 1. It's a shame, but the memories will stay! ❤🇪🇸
