Also I've been to Japan 8 times since 1992. I actually first heard L'Arc-en-Ciel and Namie Amuro in 1997 while on vacation there. The stores there had regular listening stations too so I have gone in and just taken a listen to multiple different artists' CDs at the time. Used to buy my favorites and bring em home and also bought them online and had em shipped to my home when I wasn't in Japan.
