- Back from the West coast with a fantastic new job, Jenna is living with her parents in the suburbs. And since the three-hour daily commute is wearing her down, she’s ready to find a comfortable downtown pad to call her own. Can Jodi find her a suitable new home closer to work?..
Jodi Gilmour was a fantastic host for this show, she did an amazing job and was great working with clients too. I have no doubt she is a real estate dynamo. Fun show to watch in syndication.
I miss this show! I am a fan of the house hunter shows, but I'm in more of an apartment renting phase right now so I like watching these shows with people renting apartments and houses. Jodi was a really great host, too!
Amazing person to know, I love you so much Jody ☘️🌹👑🤗😍😎💯🌟☘️🌷🍀💜💛✨🙏
I loved this show from day one!! So glad I came across it on RUclips.
I love the way she designed the apartment.I am not a fan of the green wall but i love the retro look.I could actually imagine living there myself.
Jenna is so sweet. I'm really happy for her picking the place I thought was the best (no spoiler here). I love all of Jodi's finishing touches except that chartreuse, ouch to my eyes!
Just beautiful what a wonderful job you did I am so impressed this is probably one of my favorite property rentals that you did over
I didn't know that Gatorade made paint.😬
I'm obsessed with these property programmes
This show got me thru the pandemic! Thanks Jodi! 😊
love this show.
Me too !!
I wish they've chosen a different colour other than that green they painted the living room in. It looks good initially, but it'll get old very fast.
Love this show ❤
Oooooh, that wall color though!!!
Too bright. Maybe a blue/green soft color...
That colour was popular years ago.
There are portable laundry units that roll up to the kitchen sink like a portable dishwasher.
True, I’ll be getting me one 🤗
Even back in 2010?
@@brookeschultz1318 I have had a portable washer and dyer since 2007 - best $1,000.00 I ever spent. Have paid for themselves several times over in money saved using the buildings laundry machines in the basement .
I love the apartment but that yellow color noooo!
Wish you were here in Houston Texas 👑
I love this lady she is so beautiful.
@@HopeXiClassicalPiano couldn't it be that I m just a man who loves beauty? you must be one of those idiots radical feminist that mess it up for the rest of regular women.
Este show es bonito y entrenido aprende como lograr un lugar para vivir ,ella ensena como decorar ,en cada espacio, ojala pongan mas programas ami me gusta
Get an apt size washer and dryer
the first showing , she has to share the washer & dryer with the person upstairs, so that person has to go through her home to get to it??? love the last basement ,kind of french chic...kitchen was a little disappointing but workable, the house was the biggest, but no laundry...WAY to go jenna...good choice...great landlord adding laundry. wow just improved the value of the place, the landlord will love that
I don't live in Canada so I'm not familiar with housing codes, but I am surprised that bedrooms aren't required to have an egress window. Plus, I hope basement living units address risk of mold and radon gas.
Yes, not legal! Especially since climate change has increased floods. 😮
Building codes in Canada are Provincial, not National. In Ontario, where this episode was filmed, a bedroom window is NOT required PROVIDED that there be at least one door on the same floor that leads directly to the outdoors.
So in these units, a bedroom window in not required. An apartment or condo in a multi-unit building with a common entrance is a different story. In those buildings, the apartment/unit door opens into a common hallway, not the outdoors and therefore, bedrooms MUST have a window that opens. If the room does not have a window, it’s not a bedroom and cannot be used as such.
@@serenakoleno9338It IS legal in these types of units, see explanation above .
I've never lived in an apartment that allowed tenants to paint, let alone put wallpaper on the walls.
YOU are so adorable and beautiful and great sell , helping people,
It makes me anxious when the couches get stuck
I WOULD PICK THE THIRD OPTION WHO CARES ABOUT THAT SMALL KITCHEN ITS NO LIKE YOURE GOING TO SLEEP IN IT
Patrick was my favorite episode; Of course , little Finnegan stole the show. Wonder if all turned out well- in his career. Certainly had all the tools.....
The chartreuse is a bit much for me. I love greens, but more on the blue side. But to each his own. It probably fits her personality better.
great!
I love mint green! Also, is it ALWAYS winter in Canada??

We have 4 seasons but shows are usually on hiatus in spring/summer
Usually, it is a law than a bedroom has a window, question of security... watch the show about the guy who is renovating rentals, usually basements.
No window for egress in event of fire...?

Wow!!! ❤❤❤
Her boyfriend is a bit too excited that she is no longer living with her parents.
Who wants to have sex around someone's parents?
I rent in New York and can do whatever I want to the apartment.
I am surprised that a rented property can design walls with the landlord ok with it.
It depends on the landlord, obviously.
Hello beautiful ladies and gentleman ☺️❤️❤️
Wouldnt consider Hamilton "small town"
Job well done - it looks great except for that horrendously ugly wall colour in the living/dining area.
How do you share laundry in #1???
Good question. The bedroom is also totally illegal. No window? How do you get out of the room if there is a fire in the hallway?!?! Building code violation #1.
In Canada? In 1996?
Series 3 aired in 2010.
@@rjrnj1 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Think there may have been another door for access.
I wish we had known you in 1994.
