0:31 "I believe in my future, farewell to the shadow... It was my place to live, but now I need your hand... Lead me out with your light, I have breathed in, The disgusting air of darkness, but I never lose out..." I have no idea why, but the lyrics of Supporting Me mix with that part so well
@@Rexj32 I actually really want to know what the lyrics are to the song and I was just thinking about that just yesterday. I swear I can hear "the nightmare awakens" and "the monster inside us" I would really like to know what they actually say
The point of the song isn’t to be spooky. Neither of them are actually intimidating. It’s a last stand. If anything, it’s more of a twisted version of their original theme. What you’re doing is fucked. These two are basically harmless. You had dozens of chances to back down and yet you keep going. It’s not meant to be scary. It’s meant to make you feel something. They are emblematic of the genocide routes entire message
the lirycs might just as well be what chara interprets of their actions, i can definetly hear that male voice saying monsters, and its commonly said that chara its a she, so makes sense :)
@@theladiescallmesona I can see why people make the assumption though. Chara sounds phonetically similar to Kara, which is a girl's name. Personally though, I'd disregard whatever canonicity there is for Frisk & Chara, and just do whatever is best to my tastes. There's not a lot of information about either beyond one of them hates humans with a passion, and the other is a blank slate with no personality.

I love this song, but this fight on the Ruthless Route legitimately feels fucking cruel.
It's called *Ruthless* for a reason
@@KittyKatty999 Good thing I'm just gonna abandon this run right here and now!
I felt genuinely guilty after the battle
* Like two animals backed into a corner.
Oh hi Nic, didn't know you liked Undertale
this song feels like it's trying to be spooky and not to be scary, but failing
Yeah and when sped up to 1.25 it sounds like a Halloween boss fight

@@Gamety75I see what you did there ;)
It's fear. Not spooky

"How was the fall?"
Chara is laughing in the background
i think its frisk tbh
@SaremixUltrakill It seems to me that initially Frisk controls Chara's body, but at the Genocide Chara takes back control of her body.
X1.5 feels like original speed
Will you get to Let's Boogie too?
This song Goes Hard on X1.5
i honestly kinda disagree. its meant to be slow for you to feel guilty for your actions and not energetic
disagreed
Nah
If you want a fast paced version if the 1st part then should’ve listened to Koffin Kountdown.
ruclips.net/video/H5I-lIKrp4w/видео.html I think this is the original and beta version, this was supposed to be the original Boogiemen battle theme.

whats with the subtitles???
“Let me tell you a story you see ??? ????? ???? The monster is in the way ?????? The monster if its practice

Chara actually uses they/it; they are no boy nor girl, neither are they up to interpretation, as much as some people will try convincing you of.

@@theladiescallmesona It is up to the player's interpretation, it's very much canon.
"Lirycs"
What a beautiful language of our ancestors
