Treatment of periodontitis, second visit. Filling of tooth canals.

In this video we will show the treatment of periodontitis in the second visit.
If the patient's inflammation has subsided, the tooth no longer bothers him, there is no purulent discharge from the root canals, the percussion of the tooth is painless, and the root canals are filled.
First, the temporary filling is removed and the drug is removed from the root canals. Check the patency of the root canals with k-files and measure the working length again. The main gutta-percha pins of the appropriate width are selected and the working length is marked on them. The root canals are medically treated and dried with paper points. Then gutta-percha pins are fitted in the canals and X-ray control is done.
This is followed by filling of the root canals by the method of lateral condensation using gutta-percha pins and a sealer. Carry out X-ray quality control of sealing. The canals should be evenly sealed up to the physiological tops of the roots. Finally, a temporary filling is placed. It is not recommended to install a permanent filling immediately after root canal filling, as it takes 24 hours for the sealer to harden.
