It reallly sucks they were in Houston last year. Most people didn’t even like or know them. He was genuinely upset over that but didn’t show it. You could see who were actually fans. Sucks cause they’re from Dallas
this was honestly a crazy concert to experience because the entire sky was covered with fog and there was mist everywhere in the crowd and when the first song began playing its was a surreal experience broo this and deftones was insane and it was so mf packed towards the end holy shit
This is my favorite song and kicked myself because they played it as soon as I was walking in. Upside is that I heard it echoing through the trees as I walked the long path to the bag check. It was electrifying. I wanted to cry.
Yeah glad he still has some of the manic juice in the tank at ~50. Granted will never be as insane as the OG days...but the trade is that they genuinely sound the best they ever have.
I'm always surprised by people that aren't moving or rocking out more! I think everybody likes to say they like TMV but doesn't actually :(. Or maybe the music is not super danceable or people are too inhibited. It's this funky TMV anomaly. Anyone ever notice this? I remember going to a TMV show and going nuts but I was 10 years older than everyone else that was just standing around looking at them. I kinda feel bad for the band. Get into it people! Dance, act weird, etc. :)
I saw them in 2005 and I was 19 and I went nuts. Saw them in 2022 and they did a few songs off the new album and it was generally pretty chill unless they played songs from Deloused (even the Frances stuff didn't have people going nuts which was sad)
I feel like I’ve found people have been dancing less and generally been less lively at shows as smart phone culture has grown . People are just so isolated from the internet , social media , etc. I feel like ,when I’m at shows , everyone’s dealing with the shock of actually being around other people these days 😆
they didnt go out with a bang it was more like a huh? like imagine doing a section from cicatriz or cygnus and never starting the song just ending the show with a tease of it lol
@@oui2611 it made more sense to me once I watched the entire show. Cedric literally windmills his mic into the ground in the last song, so maybe he’d had enough. I dunno. Good jams. Love me some TMV
@@TheDanification They didn't end because of anything Cedric did. They ran out of time. The Take the Veil jam was planned, even though they weren't playing the actual song. Cicatriz was on the setlist and you can hear them shift the key of the Take The Veil jam from Dm (Veil) to Em (Cicatriz) at 39:54. They were segueing to Cicatriz when Cedric noticed the time and they cut it off.
It's a shame these statuesque goofballs don't comprehend the lyrical and musical genius they're witnessing. I wish I had the financial wherewithal to participate.
Feels like this band's about 30% outside of this drummers ability. No shade/hate whatsoever, and maybe it's just the outdoor sound blowing all over the place, but the songs just feel ever so slightly stilted. Maybe it's me.
Hey whoever got this footage, fuck yea. You’re fuckin awesome. Doing it for the peoples.
For real, I was there but stuck waaaaay back in the merch line
Doing the Lord's work, truly.
I love seeing girls play the drums. she is awesome.
Theyve been so good lately its a bummer the crowd wont bite

Cedrics antics are great.

They sound amazing, to bad they had to play to a dead crowd.

Philo is more than capable of playing any of their songs
In my opinion, she gets better every time since they returned... I really like a lot what she's doing now! And I speak as a musician.
Who needs a drummer?
Where u from bro
Dead crowd
I'm the kind of guy to stand and enjoy it and get mildly irritated by moshing. I don't even to to concerts anymore. Youth fades maaan
They play the same songs everywhere....
They're not now nor have they ever been The Grateful Dead. idk why people suddenly expect them to play a different setlist every night.
31:13 "Palestine" wtf?? So embarrassing!
What’s embarrassing about that? You an Israhell supporter?
Clearly you're not worthy of his weed stash.
You're at a fucking system of a down show and u dont expect them to at least mention an open air prison currently being razed by an apartheid state?
