    Series changing save by Holtby. UNREAL STUFF!!!

      disagree on the assessment but agree that it was a great save

    • @tornado7205
      @tornado7205 6 лет назад +6

      username why? The assessment is bang on. He made the save to make it 1-1 in the series. If he doesn’t save it Vegas has a decent chance to go up 2-0. Holtby May have saved the series.

      Tornado720 Tuch showed why he'll never be as much as a poor man's Chris Kreider in the show.
      Caps will win this series in 5 or 6 (I said Caps in 5 originally). Kuznetsov or no Kuznetsov.

      Selanne93 I agree. I’m cheering for the Caps. I see them winning it in 6. Winning it in 5 probably won’t happen but you never know.

      RednBlue ́. Why shouldn’t people get hyped? Holtby made probably the best and most crucial save of the playoffs so far to keep the lead. The series is now 1-1 instead of down 2-0 to a good Vegas team. So it is most definitely series changing.

      In the first game, it was especially noticeable. In this there are questions to the judges, but there are fewer. If Vegas is dragged, then they do it very clumsily (not qualified) "В первой игре-это было особенно заметно.В этой есть вопросы к судьям,но их меньше. Если Вегас тащат,то делают это очень топорно(не квалифицированно)"

      Vegas has been waiting a long time to even have a professional sports team. They’ve been waiting since each of the four big leagues starting expanding to even have a team. No, it’s not the same as watching your team suck for years, but at least other places had teams to watch suck for years.

    • @PoBros.
      @PoBros. 6 лет назад +4

      Agreed. At the beginning of the season, I couldn't help but be happy for them, but I want it to end. I just find it so unfair that teams like Buffalo or Arizona struggle to find depth EVERY year.. and then Vegas comes in for one year and IMO is gifted the most depth of any team in the league. They basically have a whole team of 2nd liners! That beats your traditional 1st,2nd,3rd,4th line team any day.
      I always hear the Vegas fans telling people off because they have a bunch of misfits and nobody wanted them anyways.. which is so untrue. Just because a team left a player unprotected, it doesn't mean they want to lose them, they just might not have been the most important asset to the team at the time.

      for real, look at how much money is in these opening ceremonies alone. what are the odds of an expansion team making it to the cup, let alone in a record low number of games? they can play and it is a stacked team, but watch the refs closely and tell me they aren't standing in the way of crucial plays, fudging faceoffs by putting their skates in front of cap's skates, and missing calls left and right. foh

    What a great night! Here in Europe I had to get up at 2.20 am to listen to it. It was a worthy sacrifice.
    The Caps are a real Team and every Caps fan can be very proud of. The more adversities we face, the tougher and more resilient we prove to be. We did not get demoralised when we lost Kuznetsov and fought hard when we were 3 on 5. It is the 9th road victory!
    It is a huge victory for the moral, for the serie, and to sow doubts in their confidence. Las Vegas lost at home for the first time in regulation time during the playoffs. We showed them we are not going to be a cakewalk.
    We played with a better defensive discipline than in Game-1 and Holtby made an incredible save. But there is still room for improvement, like avoiding stupid penalties.
    Let’s take a game at a time, and let’s hope Kuznetsov will be able to play the next games. It would be better to have him available.
    And all of a sudden Fleury stats have started to decline…but is a great goalie, and he will bounce back sooner or later. We have to be ready for even tighter games.

      Sorry for my late reply. I keep rocking the Red. We are close, and we will get the job done soon. What I admire the most is that they are humble, they are not celebrating. If they stay calm and focused, they will prevail. It is Las Vegas that is not calm (Neal goal) and has doubts.

    Oddly enough it look like it after Kuzi injury Caps started to play better and Kuzi was so bad in game 1 that maybe this was the blow Caps needed. Eller filled amazingly that Kuznetsov role in powerplay and in 2nd line (as Backström moved to 1st line then) and basically Caps every goal came thanks to him. Still hope hes alright and gets back soon but i was really surprised how good they were without their 1st line center.

    • @jeremyhubbard2908
      @jeremyhubbard2908 6 лет назад

      Rouni Eller actually did the same thing when Backstrom got injured against Pittsburgh and got 2 goals from that. He seems to thrive being put into key situations.

    • @0rouni0

      JMoney Hubbard yeah totally. Its crazy how Eller is not even on powerplay normally, should be at least in 2nd powerplay unit if not 1st to look how good he has been.

    • @politicallycorrectredskin796
      @politicallycorrectredskin796 6 лет назад

      Leaving aside the fact that Kuz has been basically the Cap's best player in the playoffs, he returned from the injury for a clear man of the match performance in game 3. Sometimes RUclips hockey analysis is embarrassing, but this was just a complete open net for me.

    • @0rouni0
      @0rouni0 6 лет назад

      Fishslap 33
      i think you missed my point now. We all know Kuzi is Cap's best player right now and has been in this playoffs and when he got injured at game 2 it make Cap's other players take this "we lost our best player now so this means we have to be 2x better now on and play this game for Kuzi" -mindset on and it really showed because Caps started to really play good right after Kuznetsov injury. And because Kuzi was pretty bad in game 1 it make other caps players to think that Kuzi can't carry them to end like Lebron in Cavs and they have to start play much better to be able to win this series, so then Kuzi injury in game 2 was like big wake up call for them and that what i mean by the "blow they needed".

    • @0rouni0

    The scary thing is the CAPS haven't even play nearly as well as they're capable of. Vegas will soon feel the air sucked out of them as this series moves on as the CAPS have done to every other team so far this playoffs. The film the CAPS have to go off on the less room and space Vegas will have with the puck. CAPS are a well seasoned oiled machine that have shown remarkable resilience throughout this playoffs. Vegas has gotten all the calls yet CAPS managed a split and a well mission accomplished at a place where NO other opponent has been able to beat Vegas in regulation this playoffs. CAPS home crowd will be in MANIAC mode so i know these refs will be better & if they call it fairly from here on out CAPS will roll. The thing i really love about this CAPS team is the fact that they can play ANY style or brand of hockey. They're just as fast as Vegas up top as in the forwards positions however the CAPS are MUCH bigger thus if it becomes a physical battle CAPS are also well suited to play that style as well. CAPS physicality is only starting they'll ratchet it up here significantly as the series moves on thus the impact of these hits early might not show up now but the smaller Vegas team will eventually start flinching on pucks and hesitating by game 4. This series is destine for 6 games MAX 7 if the NHL & their Refs get involved. CAPS are by far the more Complete team CAPS in 6. COME AT ME

    • @politicallycorrectredskin796
      @politicallycorrectredskin796 6 лет назад

      Agreed. The Caps are much stronger as a team, and it will tell the further the series goes. In game three the Knights looked finished already. If they don't bounce back immediately the series could easily end 4-1 to the Caps. I agree with you though. and think It'll end 4-2. Hoping for a seventh and a final Caps win to finish it off, because I just want the most hockey possible out of this. Not feeling it right now though. The Knights were just bullied and exhausted in game 3. No reason to think that'll change.

    Вашингтон сыграл 👍💪 парни молодцы. Финал жесткий. Вегас грязно играет. Так и стараются вывести из строя ключевых игроков Вашингтона. Счёт 1:1 Следущая игра будет напряженной и жесткой .

      basically the first guy is saying that the caps are pgood, the series is hard to win, Vegas plays dirty and Knights' players are trying to injure the caps' best players and the next game is gonna be hard to win too. The second commenter is saying that the golden knights are mostly canadian players and their playstyle is mostly canadian, whatever that means.

    • @sam93931

      Canada were a bunch of goon in the past.. like the series between canada and russia during the cold war, canada won by injuring russian best players xD
      But thats in the past now, thx for the translation ^^

    Overlooked in this game due to the Caps winning, were two absolute brutal penalties by Oshie and Wilson. One cost them and one contributed to a 3 on 5 PK. Undisciplined to the nth degree.

    • @politicallycorrectredskin796
      @politicallycorrectredskin796 6 лет назад

      I wouldn't worry. They can't match the Knights with finesse and have to declare and establish themselves as physically dominant, even if it means taking some dumb penalties. This is wearing the Knights down, believe me.

    The level of "players" is not very bad. However, in the first game they were rescued by the referee. In the second game they showed a game that looked impressive, but Caps also did not lose pressure and the ability to fight, regardless of Kuznetsov's loss. The nature of the game is too strained, and fate depends on the goalkeepers. Attacking teams is very effective, so the fate of the cup depends largely on. .Russia, supports Caps!!!

    Tip your cap to the Capitals. They are playing a grind it out kind of game and if they continue to play their game they will win. If they go style and finess they will lose. It's just that simple. The more physical Wilson is in this series, that favors the caps as they have proven to be the most physical team in the NHL this season. In a time period of finess and style the Capitals seem to have the right brand of hockey to negate it. Good job by the Capitals.

      All these vegas players have come from different teams. Most of them have Been playing for a WHILE. Is it just Las Vegas itself that every one hates? I really don't get it. If it was a different city (maybe somewhere in canada) and the same players would people still be crying??

    • @politicallycorrectredskin796
      @politicallycorrectredskin796 6 лет назад

      Isn't it an expansion team? They took players from other NHL teams to form it. Not sure why this is "buying a winner" any more than what the other teams are trying to do. Please elaborate.

    • @amarilloshim
      @amarilloshim 6 лет назад

      Fishslap 33 Well are you a fan of hockey and aware how teams draft, develop and put together a winner over a course of many years? And even then can’t make a deep playoff run. This isn’t the fault of Vegas, but the NHL’s new expansion policy. A slap in the face to all other teams fan bases.

    • @politicallycorrectredskin796
      @politicallycorrectredskin796 6 лет назад

      Right. Well, it sort of makes sense to give expansion teams a leg up in player acquisitions I've always thought. The list of examples of teams that get terrible starts with their fan bases and therefore in their local communities is pretty long now. The Bucs for a start. Avoiding more Bucs situations is argument enough for me, even if everything that comes out of Vegas is loud, garish and obnoxious. Which this team certainly was, cynically trading on the shooting there early in the season and then hosting the most drawn out, nauseatingly silly opening ceremony I have ever seen. As if some dudes playing hockey helps people who have been shot or their family members I mean. I'm sorry, but I'm not buying these crocodile tears for a second. Not sure why anyone does. It's what politicians always do. A disaster!?! Can I get a photo op where I pretend to be concerned and sympathetic? OUT OF MY WAY! Can't you see I'm faking sadness!?! GET THAT CAMERA OVER HERE ON ME AND THIS DEAD PERSON BEFORE HE STARTS TO SMELL!!! Do you like your job with the TV station? Because I can get you fired if you want.
      ....I seem to have trailed off completely now. Sorry about that. I'll go listen to some whale noises.

    The amount of unjustifiable violence and furiousness by both teams in Game 2 chips away at my love for hockey. this isn't about exceptional talent and determination it's about eliminating each others players from the line up. And the NHL and the Players Associations have the balls to have a hissy fit every time a player suffers a concussion or plays with long term injuries.

      Lots of great hockey on these games. The toughness I like. Let the boys play! As long as they don't stop to remove the gloves and all that minor league BS I'm good.The unsportsmanlike behavior of people like Marchessault and Neal, not so much though. For some reason Neal's acting when he punched himself particularly rubbed me the wrong way. But for the most part I think you're robbing yourself of some great hockey if you don't watch these games. Which is fine if that is what you want. I just don't think it should be.
