If I want to record myself playing drums along to a song/music, how do I do this? How do I record so that other people can hear the music and me playing the drums?

I have a simple presonus audio interface with midi in and out connectors. With a td27 connected to usb of computer, can I connect midi out of td27 to midi in of presonus? What else would I need to do?

I currently connect my kit to my computer using usb midi and i use ezdrummer but i dont know how to amplify the ezdrummer sounds. Should i just connect an amplifier to my computer's headphone jack? connect monitors to the uphoria, also if you get a 4 channel audio interface you can connect all the band and record your jam and save it, for drums you have ezdrummer for guitar and bass get Amplitube 5 MAX
I don’t know about the first option. Trust me….ive blown out MANY speakers before I got pa speaker / drum amp. 😂🥴 please don’t be me 😬 BUT a work around that I found out after the fact is using an audio interface or mixer then connecting the speakers to the interface. If anything though a drum amp or Pa speaker (full range) is your best and safest option

Thanks for sharing, I have a question about VST, I'm using currently addictive drums 2 with my alesis surge mesh kit, but unfortunately when i connect my module to the VST, my cymbal gives me the sound, of the first tom, even if I mapped every single peace of the drum, i have the same issue, any suggestion please!!
I don't have use the addictive drums but in ez drummer 3 you can use the midi learn function to map every part of the drum kit you want, I don't know if AD2 have something similar, I have the same problem when I used the older version with EZ Drummer 2 but now with the new the problem is solved, another solution is to swap the cables from the module

I can't make it work via USB. I've tried BFD player and Ezdrummer... get no sound, I hit the pads and nothing happens. Don't have audio interface, is it a must?
@@AramisCentauri yes audio interface works like graphic card but with sound, computer can't run the audio works and need audio interface, if you have windows try to download and install the Asio4all audio driver, then open your audio workstation or software and choose in the audio the Asio driver
@@StamatisStabos thank you for the feedback! Already installed Asio4all a while ago and didn't help. Alesis advertised nitro max as plug n play, only needing a USB cable and now gotta spend more money on something else to make it work... Frustrating. Anyway, thank you again!

Yes when you open the Ez drummer vst on your DAW everytime ask you if you want multitrack recording and set evey part of the drum in seperate tracks

Yes with headphones and blanked down of the kick pedal, also get a soft kick beater they look like tennis balls and silicone tips for the drum sticks
