    Really cool, having lived regionally my whole life, I’ve never really considered or thought much about public transit as it doesn’t exist really outside of the cities. I mean some skeleton dysfunctional stuff exists but nothing you can really use in day to day life. Had a few trips down to Brisbane recently and I’ve really got a new appreciation for public transit. It’s a real shame it’s so bad in regional areas.

    This service goes past South Brisbane Station yeah, Near QPAC or did I miss that ?

      Fantastic, we are screaming for drivers at the moment :D
      The 40 / 50 loops just go around the inner city, there is a Southbank loop that is operated by Toowong Depot.

      @@busman108 The 86 I think it is, for the for South Brisbane Loop. Assessment centre is on Monday. I'm a tad nervous haha. You've told me a few times now I should pass with flying colors. I'm remaining positive. the only thing that might set me back is being blind in the left eye. Which the recruitment team is aware of. I am keen to help the community and drive buses.

    busman what is the worst bus to drive ? ive heard the MAN artics are bad but are there any other ones ?

    Is your driving very slow? and is it necessary to lower the bus at every stop?

      40km/h is the speed limit in the city, I lower the bus out of habit in one motion

    hey mate, where are your cheat sheets/ what do you use for navigation? im a driver here in Adelaide and we still use cheat sheets. im guessing you guys have gps?

      When you join, you get 2 weeks route training and are given maps of all 80 + routes. We don't have GPS, but after about 4 - 6 months you know 95% of them off by heart.

      Most routes have signs pointing out where to go along the way.

    How do the yutongs compare to the Volvos? Are they better to drive? I know that in G the drivers hate the MAN artics

      Yeah the MAN artics are gutless wonders, the Yutongs are the quickest in the fleet.... But are not very spacious.

      @@LachieVidsTransportVlogs yeah I like the TAG's, problem is many roads and turns are to small for the tail swing. Hence why they stick with B7's and B8's

    Первый раз я на электроавтобусе в рейс на вахту выехал в октябре прошлого года после стажировки скажу ощущения странные не слышно звука мотора привычного и скорость набирается 60 км\ч почти мгновенно за пару секунд выдали мне маз-303 работал на межгороде возил рабочих на строительство завода из города больше всег омне понравилась автономность вроде бы электрический автобус но запас хода была почти 300 км со средней скоростью 90 км\ч

      My morning bus’s indicator goes ‘beeeep, beeeep, beeeep, beeeep’ so annoying, I can hear it all the way up the back of the bus, that’s how loud it is
