Thanks bud I’ve been there 3 times now about 5 hours each hunt in the heat definitely takes it out of you, I was surprised aswell on those old coins 🪙 a particular spot has an old rock wall so must have been an old settlement or boat ramp....stay safe mate thanks again 🙏💙🇬🇷🏖
what would happen if someone reports searching for a pulse diva detector on the beach if you don't have a license?
You will be arrested and fined they are very strict here. Especially in archelogical areas be careful because 60% Island is archelogical areas. You can apply for a permit & register your machines through the Ministry of Culture in Athens. I dont recommend illegal hunting 🚫 💙⛱️🇬🇷🏖👍
What licence do you need for metal detecting in Greece? I'm looking at getting one but fear the paper chase lol
It’s tuff the first permit is the worse could take up to 7 months to process go through the ministry of culture it’s a painfully process but you can get permit it’s a 2 part process you have to register you machines then apply for beach zones ….you can join my Facebook page beach metal detecting Crete if you need help good luck mate and thanks for watching 🏖💙🇬🇷🙏💪
How do you go about getting permission to metal detect on the beaches in Crete? Or can someone simply go?
You need a permit you can apply online or through your local archeological offices it’s a long process but once you get your good to go. They are very strict here as archeological areas everywhere and here in Crete it’s only beach hunting no inland. Hope this helps and you are safe & well take care 👊🏼💙🇬🇷🏖

I am a full registered permit holder.
I hand in items to the archelogical offices and work together to save history. Only with permit and only within the Permit Zones thank you 😊 🇬🇷💙🏖👍
Is it nessesary to get a licence for hunting the beach in Greece?
