3 interesting needle weaving techniques for 3D embroidered daffodil flowers - Part 1

  • In this video, I'm demonstrating three exciting needle weaving techniques that will enable you to create exquisite flowers and leaves for your 3D embroidery projects.
    What sets my approach apart is a unique method I developed. Traditionally, the woven picot is attached directly to the background fabric. However, in my technique, I secure the thread that should enter the fabric onto small, safety pins already attached to the fabric.
    Once the weaving is complete, I remove these hooked needles, separating the woven piece from the fabric.
    This allows me to have leaves or petals that can be stitched onto another background fabric.
