My gateway into the Apple Ecosystem was actually the OG 12.9inch iPad Pro from 2015. Then I grabbed a 7 Plus when I went to work abroad for a bit since I needed a 2nd device for a local sim card. Being a diehard android fanboy during that time, It was supposed to be a short stint and going back was guaranteed to be easy. Well fast forward 7 years later, I pretty much have all the stuff you mentioned above and am currently looking to buy a 2nd Homepod 2 to form a stereo pair since they’re just sooo good. It may be a walled garden, but it’s a really darn FIIINEEE one I must say. I’m not looking to leave anytime soon 😂
nah my bro ruined me, i was android all the way till my bro gave me the iphone x freee, then i got gifted a pair of airpods. then i went down the rabbit hole and bought every apple product imaginable
So I'm new to the Samsung ecosystem, with my S23U and Galaxy watch, Tab S7 Plus and Chromebook and Buds 2. I think the integration is smooth but a few devices in my opinion still lag behind Apple, and that's the tablets and laptop. The S7 Plus can still be a bit buggy but the Quick Share is very comparable to Airdrop. While I have never used Dex, that is what has Samsung neck to neck with Apple. For Apple I have the 14 Pro, Apple watch, MacBook, iPad, Airpods Pro and Mac. Sometimes it's too smooth 😊. The S-Pen is a game changer as well where Apple makes you pay more for their pencil, that's a no go in today's crashing market. So regardless, it's about personal preference but if prices keep going up, Apple may start losing this battle, plus they lack in customization. Great content CJ, love this topic, stay true and stay away from click bait material like these other content creators out here.

I just love how everything works together. Apple has to work on its hardware and specs. But I think for what it’s designed to do you can’t beat it. The apple ecosystem has be in it for 6 years and I don’t see myself planning to leave anytime soon.
Cool to see what the Apple Ecosystem actually means in real life. Then again, I can open my door with my Galaxy watch, mirror content on my Windows PC, and my OLED TV. Rearrange my phone's files in the Windows File Explorer. I can even use my TV screen as a PC using Samsung Dex. I can read in the browser of my phone and seamlessly continue on my Samsung tablet. Also, I have the advantage of a personal assistant, which is actually really useful, namely Google Assistant. Maybe the first setup is not as seamless as in the Apple Ecosystem. But in my opinion, the freedom of choice, the limitless customization, the superior hardware, and the better personal assistant are worth the initial inconvenience.
I have an old iPhone 6s and I also have the Samsung s10 plus from 2019 and galaxy watch 3 and I just got the s23 Ultra. Samsung is far superior in my opinion
@ArthropodSpidey it's not necessarily being able to afford its just the apple products lacking capabilities like using phone or tablet as a controller for games on Samsung TV. With phones Samsung is giving more value for the money and they make the iphone displays. Trust me man I had an iPhone many years ago and compared to my Samsung phones is extremely boring like no multi tasking. Once you have these feature its very hard to go without them
This was a great video! I am completely immersed in the apple ecosystem with a MacBook, iPad Pro 12.9, iPad mini, iPhone, Apple Watch, and an Apple TV. I can say I completely agree with you it's hard to get away from Apple with such a great ecosystem. It's actually why I switched everything to Apple. I started with a MacBook about 12 years ago and over the years started switching over to Apple as the ecosystem got better and better. I won't even flex tho I had no idea about the copy and paste nor the Apple Pay (buying something on one device with a card on another) features.
My first dip in the apple world was actually the iPods from way back. I’ve been through so many iPod shuffles it’s crazy. My mom had the iPod classic that she shared with me.
CJ! Always love the content. I'm wondering if you can be the one to fully explain why Apple ecosystem keeps being placed above the Samsung ecosystem. I'm in Samsung's ecosystem and utilize a fold 3, buds live, watch 3, tablet S8 ultra, samsung TV, and samsung sound bar. Aside from the Air Pods max and smart home stuff, everything else in this video I have been doing for years. When my close friends, who are Apple ecosystems, compare their experience to mines its identical in every way. Hoping the rest of the series will highlight what is done better or different. As of right now they seem more of which UI the user likes more than one being objectively better
I was very much a MS Windows user, which I use Windows with my Job. I decided to move back and just purchased a Mac mini as I do not need a Laptop. I have been using Apple TV for years just upgraded to Apple TV this last summer. I have so much invested in the Apple Movies and TV, so much invested.
I have one problem with the Apple ecosystem. As soon as you meet a friend who has a non Apple device...file sharing becomes almost impossible. That is a HUGE disadvantage.
Honestly as cool as the “ecosystem” is, the main thing that drew me to Apple products is that things just work. Like I love tinkering with things, but that’s what my DIY projects and my Linux system are for. When it comes to just average everyday use? I want to just sit down and know that everything will just work. That’s invaluable to me.
It’s a great ecosystem. I started @ the iPad mini. Wanted a tablet for streaming/video calls & my Samsung would overheat. The iPad mini was surprisingly good. But then I needed AirPods. Got a used 12PM for $200. Typing in it. Wearing an AWU that was 4x the price 😂
I enjoyed the video. I have iPhone pro, iPad Pro, AirPods Max , Apple TV and two MacBook Pros M1 and M2 . I like the echo system but I still carry my Samsung s23 ultra daily as I need android in my life too😊.
