Rice automation is pretty simple! The smallest way is have the pots go into a sink, put a combiner facing into the sink with the rice on it. Have a smart grabber pull out pots of raw rice AND water, it has to be smart to do both of these steps, otherwise it'll be pulled too quickly, then just have it go into a Hob with a portioner attached. As soon as it's done cooking, the portioner will immediately start pulling rice out and grabbers won't grab the pot until it's empty. Then you just loop the empty pots back around and you're good! Usually a good idea to add a freezer into this set up so you can keep reusing the same pot over every day
@@simkaur2474 Yup! Lemur and I just haven't been able to really get things lined up between our schedules so recordings haven't been happening. Hopefully we'll be streaming some more soon and making videos out of that!
The dozen of hours playing this game have led up to this moment!! Proud of you guys for making the dream into reality! Also, thank you modders! You have made these guys dreams come true!
Best way to do this in a normal run would be to survive, blueprint desk, copy desk and discount desk and a loooooooot of blueprint cabinets xD I usually aim for 8-9 blueprint desk and I can easily get a couple of teleporters by overtime 4-5
Did anyone else noticed that the full plates with Sushi were actually "merging" together and then disappearing? They have up to 3 sushis plates on top of each other, but when a person grabs a plate, it grabs one and the other 2 "vanishes" from the place they were on.
If you mean at the top right of their conveyor square, I think they aren't merging. The plate entering the square from the right is being sent back there when it collides with a plate already on the belt.
Yep, you're right. You definitely could do this with only 4 set of teleporters instead of 8. Quite easily. Just move teleporter 5 up above the combiner it feeds, which is where the matching 5 is, so that line can just be conveyers. And then you can eliminate 6, 7, and 8 by just connecting those paths with conveyers.
last week i tried looking for the vod (bc I'm also trying to build a auto-sushi bar...pain in the ass lol) this week i realized its a time lapse & i can just slow the video speed down. this game is slow breaking me brain & i'm a cook XD
Seconded, a month later. Watching the kitchen design is the most interesting part for me. I went to your twitch channel but didn't see it and don't know if it's still available. If you still have it, I think it's worth uploading as a Plateup extra!
My one question for this automation is Why doesn't Price have the scrubbing brush?! He loves it so much in most normal runs I would've thought that he couldn't miss it in this ultimate run
One thing I noticed is plates combine when looping around. Look at about 27:55 as an example, plate comes up the straight conveyor from the bottom and meets with a plate coming in from the kitchen, so the two plates disappear and become one. Aenna takes an order at the table and what should be two plates comes by and is picked but only one person gets food. I haven't checked the plate count in that situation, but you could be losing dishes there, but at least you're losing food.
@@stumpt Using a Discount and Copy desk. I've had many runs where I was getting 2 teleporters for a single coin each. I think I've gotten up to 24 sets of teleporters in a single run
I love how you see Aenne just sit their like Aenne normally does when you guys plan out a design lmao

thanks. I was thinking to post this too
I haven't seen any recent plate up videos from you... Are you still playing?

@@btmikey1925 I hope you both are able to soon! Love your videos and the chaos
fking life saver. now that I can't get my 2 hours back on trying to figure that out. I spend the rest of the week trying to make my sushi bar XD
Price gets his perfect level of automation at the cost of being stuck washing dishes
Aenne just standing still while the others were moving things around is so funny to me lmao

Yeah, the top line doesn't move forward at all. It's not merging but being pushed back. The 2 lines being in sync was somewhat frustrating to watch 😅
everyone busy designing and thinking than we have aenne who just standing there look cool as per usual 😌

I feel like a layout with at least two exit/entry points for the kitchen makes more sense
Thank you so much for the Timelapse that was amazing!
Yay! My day started with happiness because another run of Plate Up is uploaded!
The first time you all enjoying and chatting and having fun during the game 🥰😂

I also thought that at first, but I'm pretty sure it just pushes the second plate back where it was coming from.
I think its only fair, that now that you have had such an easy restaurant, it's time to try turbo once for us :)
It’s funny every time you all say sushi train it makes me think of our local sushi restaurant called literally Sushi Train here in Nashville
5:20 Epic montage tiem!
THE POLKA MUSIC WAS PERFECT! (Aenne)
Don't worry, guys - I love some relaxing episodes when you try out some things you can't do in "serious mode" in creative mode.
the automation so satisfied to watch!
Tons of plates on the train are merging! Idk if the they're disappearing or can separate later. 20:01
I also thought that at first, but I'm pretty sure it just pushed the second plate back to the conveyor it was coming from.
You need to use an item called an ordering terminal because then you can take orders remotely
We considered that, but then Aenne and I would be out of a job! -Ash
They could have done some strimping
@@stumpt isn't the point of automation so that no one has a job, and everyone is just watching?
Aenne was doing a good job to sit back and relax when other three were doing their automation business~~ lmao
The wine is actually for a dish! you can use the wine for wine sauce for steak!
wine theres a wine sauce for steaks just like there's a mushroom sauce for steak
I like tia plate up, very relaxing not stressful. PS: Cinderella 2 is oso very good 😂
Y’all! I must agree that this is pretty cool 😝😝 buuuuuuut I’m still a sucker for the OG plateUp 😂😂
You could probably have automated the dishes with soaking sinks, and multiple pathways.
Sushi train!
I mean vampires get to travel, and interact with others.
I WILL HELP MYSELF
love yewhhh ♥♥♥
The Ashsplaining is real.
We could create maps that you could play!!!! It would be like the custom levels in ult chick horse.
Only improvement I could think of is scrubbing brush I clearly suck at this 🤣
Sushi in Spanish is Sushi Ash.
If you want the sushi to move faster the rapid/speed conveyer would be better to use
'now THUD are gonna go further?'
I automated rice and lol it may not be worth it. it is similar to soup automation but just rice and water
What about a space ship kitchen design?
Seeing these customers waste food like that just breaks my heart. 😢
Also, this is 100% possible in a normal run. You just have to focus down the research side of the game, which you guys usually don't do
Lol what kind of "normal" runs are you doing where you can afford 8 sets of teleporters? -Ash
