- Province life is a dream for many, and today in the North of Siargao it's full of magic family moments that we won't forget easily. It's Grandma Irma's first time in the ocean since arriving in the Philippines and granddaughter Story is so happy to sweetly guide her into the water. We have some flashback moments to amazing memories on this same beach several years ago, and enjoy the ever changing power of nature from the beaches of Alegria.

That was beautiful. My 93 year old neighbor grew up in central Texas with 12 kids in the family. Her stories of Texas in the 40's and 50's are incredible. She married the man that opened the first honky tonk in the Dallas area in the 50's. My neighbor jokes that she knew Willie Nelson before he had long hair

This family could have live in London with those rich and historical buildings but they chose to live in a quiet place in Siargao filled with beautiful nature. I would choose their path if I have a family. I prefer a quiet place with the sound of the trees, beach and fresh air. It just relaxing to see.

Hi, I was looking at your older blog about your house build. I was wondering if y'all considered building a concrete under ground storm shelter, like the one's we have here in the States. . We live in a hurricane pron e State. We cut plywood to cover the windows or have storm shutters installed. Just in case info 😊
