I think if you gave Eminem fans a test on the bars from their favorite songs, most probably wouldn't score above a C- or ~70% of bars that were fully understood. I have to listen to a song closely almost ten times to catch and understand enough bars to get a B or B+ without help from other fans like these guys. If you gave just the average rap/hip hop fan the same test, they'd probably either fail or get a D maximum. I think if you gave Eminem fans a test on the bars from their favorite songs, most probably wouldn't score above a C- or ~70% of bars that were fully understood. I have to listen to a song closely almost ten times to catch and understand enough bars to get a B or B+ without help from other fans like these guys.
If you gave just the average rap/hip hop fan the same test, they'd probably either fail or get a D maximum. I'm sure most would complain that the test made no sense and that tests are for nerds anyway. They probably wouldn't score much better on a test of their favorite rapper's bars either.
