Lisa and Jennie wrote the rap parts. The original sounded more chill (big respect to the Wonder girls 🔥) and Teddy's team did an awesome job remixing it. The original had a different vibe and they managed to make the remix sound like it could be a BP bside. And yes they popularized the line "we the only gang to run the game in high heels" 😅

@@dxwxt if I'm not mistaken that line with the heels is not part of the original song, since they remix it and added a rap. That rap part belongs to BP. There are also kpop girl groups who covered that song like Twice and GFriend and they have their own rap, but tbh no hate, BP's cover is the best. Many people including me thought that it's their song HHAHHAHAHAHAH

I agree, WonderGirls sound good with the original, Twice also did a cover of this song in 2016, but it was almost a carbon copy of WonderGirls. BlackPink changed it up, reverse synth beat, and new rap lyrics as only BP can do. They always sound good.

The original was hot stuff back in the day, Teddy really re-vamped it for this time period, coming through with the beats as always. The beat drop was extremely unexpected but SO good haha.
Besides Wondergirls, JYP also had another OG kpop singer under their label, his name is Rain. Rain's famous song "Rainism" was covered by Jungkook in a performance, the rest of the BTS members were his backup dancers. It's a really cool performance, JK was in his element haha.
