I just love Bill Alexander. I never seen him do a painting like this before til now. What a treasure this painting is to have archived and I'm so glad you've shared it with us. Thank you for presenting these works of Bill's art every day, it sure has made this lockdown time more bearable.
I did a lot of paintings with Bob and I started To paint last week, my first with Bill ( capistrano flowers). Omg !! Thank you again for thoses videos. Love that, he makes me laught, What a great teacher omg!!!
Hello art lovers, Bill said: "...I wish that when I die, that I was a good teacher." 2020 And you are still teaching like the best, Bill (son of a gun 😊) Congratulations and thank you from Belgium.
@Greg Nah. I like Bob's style, personal and paint, but artistically he never matched Bill's composition or use of colour. Look through Bill's catalogue on his website, then Bob's. Different class.
Magic white is a white that is liquified with an oil . i'm pretty sure you can buy some at alexander art website . Or else you can make your own with white and lindseed oil half and half blend .
yeah, he taught Bob, Bill created the wet on wet style that Bob uses, but Bob gets all the accolades. Ive always liked Bill better. Bob is ok but Bill is on another level.
He did. He dedicated the 3rd series (I think 3rd) to Bill and had some very kind words. He actually worked for Bill before he went out on his own. Apparently the relationship ultimately went off the rails.
@@deeliomath4641 Think it was the second season, but either way, Bob did credit Bill and dedicated that particular season to Bill. It wouldn't surprise me if Bob's business partners, the Kowalski's, had something to do with driving a wedge between he and Bill. They ultimately screwed over Bob, his son, the Ross family, and even Gary and Kathwren Jenkins, two very good floral artists. They were booted out of a partnership with Martin F. Weber and the Kowalski's stole from the Jenkins' floral painting instruction books. They're just shameless thieves who've made everyone else but themselves look like thieves. The Kowalski's disgust me.

@@michelbeaulieu6208 I'd suggest using Safflower oil as it doesn't yellow as much as Linseed oil can.
