This is absolutely beautiful !! It's crazy how much the song lines up with Noelle, lol. I love Kris' design in this, the use of the friend line splitting up to mean both Kris and Susie is really clever.
I love that Kris is stoic yet has those emotional moments like with the force field, and the platonic line, haha.
Also, Berdly is perfect in this, love how Noelle starts crying when she throttles him, he was the last thing she needed.

Wanna start my comment off by stating the obvious: this is an incredible animatic!!!! The work behind it is amazing and so expressive!! I love it and appreciate it so much
Now for what else I wanted to say: I feel like this animatic will age like fine wine the more we learn about Noelle’s character. As of right now, we still don’t really know much despite having gone through a whole chapter with her. With the way her mom is being hyped up as a real mega-strict mother though, I can absolutely see the idea of Noelle being held to rigid standards being completely canon!!
I could easily imagine Noelle’s mother flatly rejecting her daughter’s attraction to Susie (probably more because of Susie’s personality and less the fact that she’s a girl, but still)
So what I’m trying to say is: we’ve got a real banger, all-time classic of an animatic right here
