    Compare it with MacBook or ultra series 1 processor , finally reviewing a laptop unit , good to see you back

    • @mobiscrub
      @mobiscrub  День назад

      It won't make sense to compare to ultra series 1 anymore. Series 2 is significantly better in my opinion. And comparing to a MacBook, in terms of what? When you compare to a macbook, it comes down to more of a choice between MacOS and Windows.

    It is knocking of Intel equivalents at half the power and Snapdragon based chips at even less power.
    I wonder if Zen 5 based chip can do this much,. I'll wait for Zen 7 or 8 based chips to be launched until I am still happy with my Zen 2 based laptop.

    • @ashyouknow7420
      @ashyouknow7420 День назад

      The current Zen 5 CPUs have much better performance except the iGPU but they consume much more power as well. And I don't think the Snapdragon X Elite chips even do justice to people's expection of ARM efficiency because it consumes just as much power as high performance Intel or AMD chips if not more in intensive tasks unlike the M3.

      G14 more catered towards gaming as it's a ROG. This more for professionals, but to see how battery life goes would be interesting.

      that's right... Zephyrus is not really a direct comparison. It's geared more towards the gaming audience - but with a more minimal design taste. honestly, zephryus are my personal favourites!

Sounds the technician is a newbie with no clue, not to mention the length of time I waited and series of #s I called. At the end I have to reset back to factory setting and reinstall everything. I find the Dell team more competent when it comes to technical issue of their products. Overall Asus still a great option for everyone.

    8:00 what do you mean nothing too intense..., this laptop I guess is capable for engineering software designing like solidworks and catia, and it can run matlab with multiple windows for calculations and simulations... I'm sure of it, even the limitation of GPU, and u can play even high demanding games once in a while for short periods of time by doing some adjustments or it will automatically be set, I hope you do this things before judging because you have the device... the only hit is the 3k instead of 4k resolution, I heard it's gonna be noticeable when doing images editing, can you try and compare it to 4k resolution oled screens

    • @mobiscrub
      @mobiscrub  День назад +2

      Nothing too intense was for video editing specifically. You can't expect this to run smoothly if you're using let's say 4K 10-bit footage, then applying third party plugins or templates to add effects or use it for after effect work that involves 3D work. It will slow down the process, lag and may even get stuck executing that kind of workload.
      I did not connect this to a 4K 120 Hz external display to test the performance. On the 3K 120 Hz, it works very well, even when gaming on AAA titles like CoD as I demonstrated. I was very pleasantly surprised myself at just how good integrated GPUs like the Xe2 has become.
      FYI - your last line talks about 4K OLED specifically - the kind of display has nothing to do with performance. It's the number of pixels that need to be pushed out - be it LCD or LED or OLED.

    • @ossamaelyounssi97
      @ossamaelyounssi97 День назад

      @mobiscrub thanks. that cleared some angles, but I'm afraid this device is still not gonna make it with 3d designing,-which is my field-, as you mentioned but I hope you try them out if it's possible.
      Thank you 😊
