I am torn about this stream. On one hand, the lineup and action was absolutely top notch. Great job to Ryan for arranging and the players not afraid to splash. On the other, i feel that Nick and his commentary is a major detractor to the stream and it ought to be addressed. Its just not professional, lacks insight into the action, and is by far the lowest qualityin the HCL crew. We are tuning into a high stakes cash game. It’s their rules. Sure, at any casino in the US , it’s English only. Not here. If you don’t understand the mission of Nick and Ryan - that their primary goal is to grow the game - then it’s impossible for you to be supportive. Sure, he addressed it early and throughout the show, but he also shared the positive reasons why it’s ok it’s not English only. Not to mention, you’re not interested in improving your own poker skills (body language, timing tells, pot sizing) if the language at the table bothers you that much.

I say this Respectfully, i believe that Nick and Ryan should address this, the talking of Foreign Language at the table should be forbidden, it’s Disrespectful to other players at the Table ( even though in this case 99% of the table understand what is being said ) but there is Pepe and Rymond at the Table and more importantly, there is US, the Viewer’s, we watch this Stream and support this Stream, i do understand that this does not happen All the time, but lately alot of Chinese Player’s playing on the Stream,
I say this Respectfully, BUT it would be nice to understand what is being said amongst the players OR rather just switch OFF their 🎤

@@mashedpotato982 Fully agree that English should be Mandatory, i play poker myself & have traveled to Europe & have played in some games whilst there ( I’m from South Africa ) the speaking of English is standard practice of communication whilst at the table, otherwise could be seen as potential “colluding”, I’m not saying that was the case, the bottomline it’s Disrespectful to the other players at the table & WE/US Viewer’s who take the time to watch & support this Stream since day one, now have to play guess work as to what is being said 🤔
Nick V the Co Owner who actually did make a comment regarding this early in the Stream, should have immediately told Ryan to send a message to the Dealer to inform the Players,
Oh well let’s see if something gets said and the rules are Implemented 👍🏻
@@michaelrobertson4561 I doubt it. They need big cash players on a consistent basis and American players who play big typically shy away from HCL other than appearance now and then.
We are tuning into a high stakes cash game. It’s their rules. Sure, at any casino in the US , it’s English only. Not here. If you don’t understand the mission of Nick and Ryan - that their primary goal is to grow the game - then it’s impossible for you to be supportive. Sure, he addressed it early and throughout the show, but he also shared the positive reasons why it’s ok it’s not English only. Not to mention, you’re not interested in improving your own poker skills (body language, timing tells, pot sizing) if the language at the table bothers you that much.
