    Addendum to the owners manual on CFmotos website corrects the owners manual to clarify how to check the oil level. It is to be checked with the bike in the "UPRIGHT" position.

      Hey I really would like to know how to get that tag bracket for my bike I bought one identical to yours 4 days ago and no one can happen to find or think there’s a different tag bracket.

    And just so you know every motorcycle on the market even back in the 80s bikes were put on site stance to check the oil that’s how you gain royal level. Also keep in mind your driveway has a slope something to consider food for thought I love your bike.

    Indeed the instrument panel becomes unreadable (blank) when wearing polarized sunglasses but miraculously become visible when I have the visor closed on my helmet. Apparently having the layer of clear plastic of my helmet visor between my sunglasses and the instrument panels neutralizes the polarizing problem. By the way, lots of modern day automobile dashboard panel readouts also become unreadable with polarized sunglasses.

    You can install a windshiled extension. Saw one who posted that. Bought one for my 650mt. Ride safe.

    Have you tried out the companion app on it? Thank you for the upload. I’m considering this bike due to the price point and the included side cases.

      I have not. I have not had it anywhere that I could use navigation and I heard some things are still a little buggy. It was weird when I was trying to bluetooth some headphones in my house and something CF moto was showing up in my scan.

      It's a very wide and narrow rectangle. Took a little while to get used to. Not too bad really. High beam doesn't make a huge difference but does light up the signs down the road. Overall it's ok.

    How do you like this machine so far? i'm looking at them but i'm kinda up in the air about this along with the polarized sunglasses. Only thing i wear. Just kinda nervous pulling the trigger on one because they're kinda in that weird zone in the ADV market.

    • @Bendc1970A1

      So far I still like it. I have less than 500 miles still.ive owned 2 vstrom 650s in the past so im very familiar with this style of bike. Half of my sunglasses are polarized. I tend to not like polarized for this very reason.

      @@Bendc1970A1 yeah my dealership has two of them in stock. It’s either the 650 adventura since the 800’s aren’t out yet at least I don’t think.
      My friend says I should just get a Harley 1200 or a dyna. My plan was doing the TAT on a grom and a trail 125 with the wife but The grom keeps being pushed and with not being super experienced I’m worried about a bigger adv bike on the TAT. So that might be shot down for right now.

      Good looking bike. I sat on one at the dealer and contemplated buying one. Ended up getting the CLX 700 sport as they had a demo model and gave me a great deal. Hopefully these bikes are as quality as they look. Safe riding.

    I see youre in Indiana (I'm near Highland) which dealer did you go through and were you happy with the experience?
    I'm looking at /compairing the CF Moto 650 Adventura and the CSC RX4; but would really like to sit on the bike and if possible buy from IN instead of ComiCali.

    Great bike for the money. It has the engine of kawa er6 and versys 650 that the only problem was broken exhaust valves at 1st and 2nd generation. Did you have hear anything similar problems of cf moto engines in USA?

      @Bendc1970A1  Год назад

      I have not heard of that. CF does do a 3 year warranty that helps with my piece of mind. So far still running great. Not getting the gas mileage I was hoping for but not too far off.

    • @Bendc1970A1

      The owners manual is wrong. Oil should be checked with bike upright. 9:56 . Other than that I'm happy so far, and I have owned many many motorcycles including 2 vstrom 650's.

      I have about 200 miles on this and on the second tank of gas. Computer is showing 61.4 miles per gallon. I will check that with tripometer the next time I fill up. So far I am very happy with this bike.

      I have had nothing but problems with mine. It heats up to crazy levels after 20 minutes, your crotch and legs are burning. I have about 1200km on mine. The fuel gauge stopped working on mine. The fuel mileage is really not great, my 2008 vstrom is better. The fairings are attached with double sided velcro. Spend the extra 400-500 and get the honda 500x. Been talking to other owner and they said they had to replace the head after 7k km.

      @Dan Shyne I picked mine up 4 days ago and just today I went on a long ride 250 miles and this bike is well balanced, comfortable and Maneuvers so well. This is my 5th in my life and by far the best I’ve own. Even went off road for about 10 miles to try it out flawless.

      I've owned 2 v-strom 650's and loved them. My last one was a 2019 that was marked down to $5999 at the dealership and it was too good of a deal to pass up. I had to sell it when I had some other financial things on my plate and probably should have kept it. The fact that I could not find one now for less than $9000 sort of turned me off from buying another one. I have around 1000 miles on my Adventura and I'm still liking it.

      Not the first time I've heard that. LOL. If you care the CF is still running pretty good. The display quit working and it was replaced under warranty. Thank goodness it was a $1000 part. Tried to sell this bike after the warranty was ran out and didn't get a lot of bites. Not a lot of people looking for a Chinese bike in the used market.

    I watched other videos the crash bar and bags come with the motorcycle they are ripping you off I was at one dealer crash bar wasn’t on it I asked the price they wanted $9000.00 all other places are 6200 to 6700.

    • @Bendc1970A1
      @Bendc1970A1  2 года назад +1

      Yeah for $9000 id get a v-strom 650. As far as crash bars from what I can tell the 650 Adventura sold in the US does not have them and the 650 MT sold outside the US does have them and sometimes even hand grip wind deflectors.
