Sustainability is often pushed to the side for art sake and honestly this video is so refreshing! A lot of artists that I know just aren’t aware of the environmental impact of their favourite mediums, me included … I’m taking notes for my own practice and will for sure to come back to this video once I use up my art supplies 🤩
thank you!! same, it took me a long time to re-evaluate how harmful my art practice was and how I could make shifts in order to make it more sustainable! there's definitely a long way to go for me, but it excites me to keep learning and exploring new ways. it is also teaching me a lot about slowing down
Please do another favorite thingy but about food,tea,supplements,herbs/plants/mushroom and self-care/skin care and make up💜 I know in the last favorite video of yours you talked a little bit about it, but I would love to watch a much more in depth version💜
Thank you for sharing your supplies! Given the care you put into your choices it seems like its a very personal video. I am curious about why you do not work with gouache paint anymore, what led you to decide not to, and also acrylics (the golden paint tubes in the background). I am on a similar journey and am curious if I am missing information about those. Thank you!
Hi there! I’m new to your channel, so you have probably addressed this in another video. But how do you handle lightfastness/archival quality with your handmade watercolors? I know this is a challenge with most watercolor pigments anyway; just wondering what you do to protect the longevity of your beautiful work. 😊
@@deeh9563 hi Dee! Thank you for being here & welcome 🤍 I love this question. I don't work with plant pigments as they tend to fade easier, within the earth & mineral pigments I work with I only use ones that are light-fast! With the ones I make my own its all trial and error while exposing them to the sun, but the ones I get pre-made I always check the light fastness before buying them ☺️ hope this helps!
Thank you so much for this video! Vegan and cruelty free is a concern of mine too - there are blogs that list this info, but just to be on the safe side, I contact the companies directly. @blick_art is really great about answering those questions too🌿🕊️

Thank you for sharing! Super helpful, as I have been on the Sustainable journey myself for many years. I am going to try this journal out 💃

Thumbs up for RUclips's mysterious mechanisms to work in your favor!
I love watercolors. It's such an underappreciated medium imo.

Mulher linda, inteligente e criativa. Adorei este video!!!!! 🥰 beijo de Portugal 😘🤍
Would the Craftamo bamboo brushes not work instead of the Princeton ones?
I suggest a printer with a refillable ink tank!
❤❤❤❤❤
