Hi! can you help me with some solution? I'm making assembly drawings, so in that how can I detach a part that's part of an assembly (say A) and make it as a separate assembly (say B) ?
Hi Justin, The assemblies are created in the 3D model by using connection elements (wels or bolts) with location "On shop". If you want to separate an attached part and make it a separate assembly, you need to find the weld or bolt that connects it to the main part and change the location to "On site". Then run the numbering again, to let Advance Steel assign assembly mark. Hope it helps :) Emy
