As far as I'm aware they chose this song because it pretty much encompasses their journey as idols, from their debut to their current standing. The school uniform is also a homage to their debut title track Boy and the white outfits are related to their newest album Be Awake.
Ahhh okay makes sense.
They said they didnt dance to impress, but dance to express.
I know Q has more potential as everyone knows, but they were telling a story about their struggles from being trainees to promoting Roar 😇
You saying that sunwoo is top2 strongest dancers in tbz makes me sooo happy because he’s honestly so so good it’s about time ist switch his lead dancer title to main along side changmin and juyeon
Absolutely!!
Yes!!! Omg imagine on paper being able to say your 3 main dancers are Changmin, Juyeon and Sunwoo, game over everyone
Uniform is basically their debut. It’s basically there evolution and struggles and going the storm as idols title thunder. 1:10 creating a star with their hand showing that they dream of becoming a star. 1:19 Q getting pushed around and he jump right back up representing that they have been thrown around, the struggles they have gone through and like fans throwing them around and doing whatever with them like dolls, but didn’t let that get in the way. 1:27 basically in a sense they used the backup dancers as obstacles and storms they have to get through, stating they are making their way through the storm even if it’s hard. The school and desk is representing the high expectation they have as idols and not just idols have to go through but, also students. During Qs solo, it was them during their debut days boy era (school uniform) doing their best in every performance while passing through obstacles of being an idol and then he met Sunwoo and both meet and reached success that they’ve been dreaming of since debut. 3:53 showing they together and they have reach to the success they have now through the storm and struggle they been through. They became one. Basically the summarized they started with a big dream, and there were times where they fell, were tired, and been hated but they strengthened each other until they finally became what they are now, because of teamwork and the trust they have for each other.
Omg I would have never thought of it, but you saying you wanna see Sunwoo and Jungwon dance together just clicked in my brain and holy crap that would be insane!!
I love this performance so much and the meaning behind it! Juyeon and Q are the best dancers in TBZ. Juyeon and Eric are my fave dancers! I love No Diggity because Juyeon, Sunwoo, and Q are so cool in it! Please react to that if you haven’t already! Also, please react to TBZ recent comeback ROAR, MV and fixed dance practice! The choreography is insane!
If you listen to the lyrics of the song and pay attention to the storyline told through the dance, you can understand why they chose this song in particular. It literally fits how they felt going from trainees to being successful idols, struggling against everything thrown at them and continuing forward as individuals and as a group. They explain it very well in their behind the scenes video where it shows just how much practice they put into this performance despite it being really difficult and during their promotions for Roar. It never ceases to amaze me how hard idols in general work, but for me The Boyz are really special to my heart since I watched them grow from predebut. They've come so far.
Thank you so much for the reaction to The Boyz!
You should see the spotlight behind of this.
I think I will!
The Boyz had done a bit of ballet when they were on Kingdom!!!❤ I love some of their dancing there as they added contemporary elements.
I loooooove Q too.
Sunwoo indeed has source
They are indeed the stronger dancers in tbz. But i feel they could have chosen a more hip pop like song cuz they do street dance and hip pop so good, that could’ve showed their skills more🙌🏼
while I agree that they could've showed more skills with street dance and hip-hop since it's their forte, but I personally like that both of them decided to go on a completely different genre, and instead of doing crazy dance moves to impress, they decided to tell a story. And to add, the dance itself is already very hard despite this genre not being their forte. They still did really really great and personally, this is my favorite mix and max stage overall.
@@Portiayuu yh I agree with you and I'm glad that the first chance they got like this was to tell a story just like juyeon
A mí me gusta mucho la manera de bailar de Changmin, siento muchas cosas cuando lo veo bailar, las líneas, cada detalle y movimiento... Para mí de los mejores bailarines en el kpop...
Hope you react to ROAR by The Boyz! And if you intend to check out the album, I would highly recommend Saviour.
I did! I wasn’t obsessed with it but it’ll be on my Patreon.
i didn’t like the song choice either, the part were q has his solo moment is perfect for his movements and style of dance, the acting portion with the two school desks fits the song as well, the rest not so much, especially the parts with the dancers
the styling as well isn’t something i’d choose but i’m probably missing some meaning behind it
nonetheless they did great, i loved sunwoo’s facial expressions and it’s always a pleasure seeing q dance
We are in agreement!
i don't like the song choice too and i know q is a great dancer but i think he couldn't show his full potential with this song. both did great, still!
I think Q definitely showed that he's a really great dancer through this performance however as a long time deobi, We all know what he is capable of and we know he could've showed more of his skillsif the genre was more so on his forte but nonetheless, both still really did great and I love that they both decided to go against a genre that isn't their forte. Goes to show that they aren't just dancers who stick to what they're good at but they're dancers who are willing to perform and learn any kinds of dance styles.
Same... The mario popping dancing it's gonna be so cool for mixmax imo
What is the title of the intro song ?
SNSD - Paper Plane (slowed)
Unlike you I love the song but I don't think the choreo matched it. Except for the part were Q dances alone, I didn't feel anything during that video. It's a shame because they are awesome dancers.
I love them both, but I can definitely tell the differences you mention. Q has more control and technique, that is why his movements are more elegant and defined, however, Sunwoo has more "swag" and a very particular way of moving his body.
Hard to choose, but there is no need to. They complement each other very well.
It's a pity that the song wasn't the best choice, to be honest.
PS: Individual "No Diggity" fancams are out now, I recommend checking out Q's, you'll see a side of him that's rarely shown.
Ooooo thanks for that, I'll check it out!
Oh nvm I've seen it already lol for some reason I thought I hadn't seen it yet.
@@Koko3op I know I keep making recommendations on Q, but he has my heart. I'm sorry!
You don't like the song choice? 🥲 I love Imagine Dragons. C'mon, man!
Loool I explained why
