"We Cannot Escape the Past" but it's sped up to "We are in the Shadow of a Distant Fire"

- The new beautiful release by Kirby already made it's first comparison back in 2001 with "we cannot escape the past" (my favourite track from ASTTS). This video's purpouse is to edit the track in order to resamble its newer version.

We cannot escape the shadow of a distant past.
We cannot escape a distant fire
Considering that at any second this war can spread out, it's a scary coincidence.
Just gonna get this out of the way: how much did you speed this up by?

Bruh, what a genius artist. Literally speeds up a song he already made and loops it like, 10 times. I thought he made something original for once.
my video is a sped up version of Kirby’s track, “we are in the shadow of a distant fire” is a completely new work: the only similarity between the two tracks is the sample
@@albamomo8324 Bro, don't bullshit me man this is the same exact song but slowed down. The entire song *is the sample.* I could've made this. He didn't even make an original cover, that's just the slightly altered cover of We, so tired of all the darkness in our lives. Made under his real name (And is actually entirely original music.) He just renamed it and added grainyness.

I like this man's work but sometimes his music is pretty L. The last track in Everywhere at the End of Time is ruined to me knowing that it's just the same song as something he's made before.
The context behind it is what makes The Caretaker a work of art. If even so you still don't like that, Kirby makes music without sampling too, check out his albums like We, So Tired of All The Darkness In Our Lifes
Oh crap, wait, you already mentioned that album, dammit
@@andresadamo1255 That's why I loved his work under his real name so much more. The whole distorted sample thing starts getting old after a while. When he genuinely makes real original music like in Sadly the Future is No Longer What it Was, it hits so much harder. I have never heard such emotion be summed up in one song with no lyrics until that album.
You find it fast :o
How's life?
