That was so lovely Janette and I love your new additions. There are some amazing people people out there aren't there? Some volunteers around my area have been scattering seeds on the roundabouts and they look so pretty when they bloom. I think a fairy garden would get vandalised here which is sad. Just a few people that ruin things for everyone. I bought a big fairy statue this week (my brother will roll his eyes when he sees it!) and the sales lady said she'd get the wings from the stockroom as people steal them. I couldn't believe it and wondered why people would do such a thing. Going back to your video, I love the way Lottie kept looking back to see that you were coming. They are sweet doggies and I'm pleased that Lucy has been discharged from the eye clinic. Just a shame that she still has to have the drops. Enjoy the rest of your break from school.
Hello Wendy and how lovely to hear there are wonderful volunteers in all our areas. My goodness your fairy sounds big!! You made me laugh saying your brother will roll his eyes 😆 I do hope our fairy garden doesn’t get vandalised too. That would be too sad. Actually I don’t think Lotte was looking back for me 😆 we had just passed another dog so I think she was checking to see it wasn’t still behind her (she’s not keen on other dogs). That was a fun video to do though and a good excuse to show everyone what our daily dog walks are like, although I don’t go up that bridle path at 6am weekdays, I stick to the main roads and the houses at that time of the morning. 🥰
Good morning Jasmine, it’s so cute isn’t it? Glad I was able to regift my fairy garden bits somewhere too 🧚♂️ they’ve added a cute little washing line with clothes too 😆♥️

Hi Janette, I like weeding too. Weeding doesn't require any decision making like planting does. You see a weed and you pull it out. Easy! Thank you for the walk around the lovely area near your home. So beautiful! I must admit that I do still have a couple of fairy houses in my garden. Hope you're having a great week. Love Bron xx
You’re absolutely right there Bron, I like going outside with my earphones on and, like you say, no decisions to make and nothing else to think about for an hour or however long. Very therapeutic. I did love my fairy garden but it was a bit small and the plants outgrew the space very quickly so I took them out and they’re now dotted around elsewhere. Glad to hear you have fairy garden(s) though, I do think they’re very sweet. Yes, I’m glad others get to enjoy my donations. Well, I wish you a fabulous week ♥️

Thoroughly agree these volunteers really do make a huge difference to our local environments and areas that we live. Our group "In Bloom" group work so hard with the high visibility jackets on often on the road side verges and community spaces. It so nice that they make such a difference especially when local government's are making more cut backs to our funding and what we get for our parish. Like you, I would love to join but only have weekends free and its usually non stop. Thanks for sharing. 🐞🌻🌱

😊😊 the next day they posted another picture and one of the fairies has now hung their washing on a miniature washing line, little pegs and everything 🧚🏼♀️♥️
How adorable! I wish I could show you mine. I have a wooded area for my fairy garden. I make some houses and such from natural elements. I make small water features! Houses made into rock piles and at the base of trees. I have one in a huge planter. I love doing them. I also make fairy cities for my house. Ones in my bedroom with fairy lights. I use a lot of items I’ve repurposed. One has bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and a living room. Oh how sweet is this little fairy garden!!! I have areas like this in my fairy 🧚♂️ garden/city. This is a beautiful place to walk through.

If you have Facebook I am on there and you could DM me and I could give you my contact details? In the meantime, wishing you a fabulous day 🩷
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener oh that would be awesome. But I already took most everything up to clean and work on it this fall. Some need repainting. Rain made such a mess but I do have a few pictures that I took last year. I can’t wait until I get it all tidied up and get plants back out. That shouldn’t be long. I’ve already started. They ALL died in the bad freeze that we had. I was so sad when the storms did so much damage. Then the heatwaves have been horrible. But I’ll follow you on fb and show you some pictures. The actual foundation is still here but it’s all the houses and items that I have taken in to paint and repair. I walked through it today and so want to get it full again.
New sub here! You have a lovely garden Janette - I’m getting lots of inspiration from your wonderful combinations of plants. The fairy garden is so cute, and how kind of you to add to it with your little pieces 😊- community spaces like this are so valuable and give pleasure to a lot of people.

Someday I’ll visit England , 😊
Hi Max, I think they don’t take the scooters because you can only ride them if you put money in them!! They are dotted all around, I really just have a go on one of them. Glad to have found somewhere to donate all my fairy garden bits, cute isn’t it? Hope you do come over one day ♥️

Hi Jeanette, thanks fir sharing your local park with everyone. We have a town "up north" called Bury, maybe we can twin towns ? Interesting to see your world beyond your garden, the park is so spacious so close too. The fairy garden is so good, the children must live it, even more after your visit adiing them extra fairness! Like we are close to open spaces and nature, I feel as I get older I need more and more open spaces. Just this week walking in the park there was so much to discover and admire in the wild meadows, noticed a long red grasses which later thought would look good in the wild part of my garden along with the weeds and self germinated plants. Lotte and twin, forgot the name, as they walked with you along the park path reminded me of two mini huskies in pulling away on their leads. We go away today, a week in Spain with family, I feel excited but regret delaying planting up my baskets and tubs! A case of wanting my cake and eat it. I assume the temperature in Spain will be higher than here, the chill factor wind in Cheshire is frustrating but it dry and warm in the sunny spots so happy. Bye for now. S
Good morning to you Stephen and thanks for your lovely comments. Yes I am very lucky to have two parks in walking distance and an enormous nature reserve too, I’ll have to take you there sometime as it’s beautiful. So good to just get away from the rushing around we all do every day. You have little huskies, how adorable. My other dog, the little twin one, is Lucy. Richard named them after the names mentioned in the song Mack the Knife (Lotte Lenya & Lucy Brown) 🎶 and how lovely to be off for a week in Spain 🇪🇸 I wish you a wonderful week, fortunately it’s not really hot over here so you don’t have to worry about your garden while you’re away. The first thing I always do after a week away is rush out to the garden and it’s always amazing how different everything looks in just one week. Have a wonderful trip ♥️

😊😊 the next day they posted another picture and one of the fairies has now hung their washing on a miniature washing line, little pegs and everything 🧚🏼♀️♥️

that is just so adorable 🥰
Oh my goodness, your fairy garden and water features and everything else sound amazing!! I wish I could see! Would you be interested in filming it so I could show it on my channel? If that’s something you’d be interested in doing, do let me know and I’m sure we could work something out!
Oh that will be a fun job over the colder months, I’d love to see some photos so I’ll look out for you over on FB 🩷
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener yes I'm hoping since this summer was so bad I can't get a lot done so spring I can put everything else out. It's so bare.
@@TheEnthusiasticGardenerI'll definitely share some pictures. I found some little short video clips. I'll get them to you on FB. :)
precious!!!
Hello there Marybeth and thank you 🍄 very cute isn’t it? Have a happy week ♥️
New sub here! You have a lovely garden Janette - I’m getting lots of inspiration from your wonderful combinations of plants. The fairy garden is so cute, and how kind of you to add to it with your little pieces 😊- community spaces like this are so valuable and give pleasure to a lot of people.
Hello there Willow Grove and thank you so much for subscribing - how lovely to have a new gardening friend 🥰 I loved donating to the fairy garden, isn’t it adorable? I post new videos on a Tuesday so hopefully see you again tomorrow ❤️
Oh! That’s wonderful! And how fun to add some of your own pieces to the fairy garden! (I need to visit Essex.)
Come and visit Lindy Lou 👍🥰 I’m glad I found something to do with all my fairy bits too 🧚♂️
Hi Janette! Such a lovely community space! And I love volunteer organizations that put their love into these spaces. So kind of you to add your fairy garden bits. You did a wonderful job. Thank you for sharing this. We also have Rte electric scooters in my area. So funny to see them randomly standing on the side of the street. I too have not tried them myself
Hello Lauren, there are some lovely people around aren’t there? I will join them when I don’t have to work any more, and you have the scooters too!!! We must both take the plunge and have a ride on one 😆🥰♥️
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener yes I agree on all of your comments 🛴😂
Let’s make a pact to have a ride on a scooter this June 👍☀️😊
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener yes! Let’s do it!
😆😆
That’s very nice of you contributing with the fairy garden my friend . I think people in England are more happy , just by seen the electric scooter left like that and nobody takes it or stealing that says alot about their people, here in our area you can’t leave nothing like that . Someday I’ll visit England , 😊
Hi Max, I think they don’t take the scooters because you can only ride them if you put money in them!! They are dotted all around, I really just have a go on one of them. Glad to have found somewhere to donate all my fairy garden bits, cute isn’t it? Hope you do come over one day ♥️
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener yes you need to and when you do we want to see it on it 😊.
The fairies are beautiful , I’m glad they do that there , so the kids can have little bit of join and they can use their imaginations . Let me keep practicing my accent and we will come to visit someday 😊
Yes, you must practice so you can visit and when you do we will both go on a scooter ride 🛴😆🥰
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener 😂. I have never done it, I might fall over lol .
😆😆
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener thanks for your reply, I haven't got two huskies but your dogs reminded me of them...lol
Love to see your park one day....see you soon.S
Beautiful ❤
Hello there and thank you so much for watching ♥️
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener It is really inspirative and very nice channel, glad that subscribed ❤️
Well thank you so much, it’s lovely to have a new gardening friend ♥️
The fairy garden was lovely I’ve got a small fairy garden
Aww I do love anything in miniature, I used to have a dolls house which I was decorating but I gave it to my friend for her two little grandchildren because it just took up too much space in the end ♥️
I’m going to try and find the fairy garden and donate my bits x
Aww how lovely. Take some photos if you do and we can post on their FB page ♥️ they’ll have to build an extension 😆😆♥️
Gardeners are just wonderful, not only keeping their own gardens looking lovely but are willing to give both time and effort to keep the surrounding areas lovely also. Well done to them.
Absolutely wonderful ❤️
@@TheEnthusiasticGardener Weird, did the same post appear twice....
I was thinking the same 😆
