- Hey this is Kiljam112, presenting to you my first PvP video of my shaman
I'm in resto gear, but as you see, in resto gear it aint so bad! :-)

About damn time Shamans got their rightful spot in this game back. We were always the best from the start even, like in WoW Classic. :D
All of you who are negative pay attention to some of these things. First he is resto geared. Second this video was made long time ago and it was his first. Third those of you who say they have seem shamans doing higher damage remember that he is resto geared and doesn't have WSG buff or any other buffs unlike others. Hieno video Kim, jatka samaa rataa.

this is awesome! I quit playing last year and I decided to play again after the new expansion releases. I had a lvl 60 orc shaman :). From what I've heard there are less and less shamans nowadays and I'm proud to be the underdog!
Everyone is like enhancement is the way to go in pvp, but after seeing this vid...wow, im in awe. @.@
let me give all elemental shamans a tip... don't cast flame shock and then lava burst... you can do it by casting lava brust and then flame shock while lava is on the way, it saves some time..
some of you know this, but some don't, and it's a nice tip

The addon that makes the damage numbers different is called "Nice Damage" there is a link to it in his discription! //cheers

I recommend orc for PvE. For leveling, enhancement is definitely the best because you have little to no downtime. Once you get to 80 for PvE I suggest elemental for DPS, or resto for (uber-leet) heals. But in the end, what it all comes down to is your play-style. If you like casters, be elemental. If you like melee, be enhancement.
there is good reason... remember when they started nerfing shaman and you didnt want to play it? x100 and you are here. this guy is amazing really
@Thebannedone1 It's called Recount, if you are of about the meters used on the left of his screen, if you are on about the font, that's what I want to know also.
Well I didnt show 1v1, because this video was made ages ago when I did not know how to PvP, second, nowadays MOST people enjoy entertainment videos such as big numbers in battleground zerging GY etc etc... But the second movie that I'll be makking is when i'm 2.3k atleast in 2v2 as elemental. mostly an arena video including some world pvp and duels

This isn't a pvp video. It's a damage video. The majority of your scenes took place where you were not being opposed and usually you were in a large group of friendlies where the enemy was not yet fully aware of you.
Secondly, your numbers are typically only about +/-200 dmg from my own elemental shaman's, and thus, weren't really anything vid-worthy.
Finally, I noticed that in most of this vid Horde was winning the BG or tied with you.
An average video.
Horde videos are better.

I meant to show the damage, but I messed up, oh well :)
I understand the need to use CL to time out a LvB rotation but you can do that on the Heroic Boss Dummy (which is 3 levels higher so DPS will be lower anyways) and there arent 2 other dummies to bounce CLs off of.
I will make my own DPS test with my shaman and upload it this afternoon to show you what I am talking about.
Had to reply to this one. Lava burst only "checks" for flame shock on the target the moment it's cast, so this will not guarantee the crit if you add FS right when it finishes. Tested myself before and after the change where LvB doesn't consume FS anymore.

@Cerneavschi It depends on your spell power, and if you have flame Shock on the target, Lava Burst will always be critical....and in pve, you can hit 20k lava burst

The melee spec for any class is usually the best/fastest for leveling. IE Enhancement, then respec.

@TeresaxxScreaming You can see that he's casting Chain Lightning while his Lava Burst is in the air heading towards his target.
yes, and level as a enhancement shaman, when you hit 80, if you like it, stay enhancement (its really good, i was long) ... if not, change to elemental if you like it more... (im ele now cuz i got borred of enhan... but i dont say its better, both are good)

@gustavyaknow Called NiceDamage. The addon isn't on Curse, you should check out the wowinterface site ;) If you downloaded the addon, checkout the readme file, it explains how to change the fonts ;)
apparently 60% speed mounts are now going to be available to lvl 20s. with lower cost too.

This is PvP mate, people are geared with resilience to keep away big crits and crits at all. So its less likely to have a major crit as you describe here ;) But mages are very nice dmg dealers hehe ^^
Ohh might have forgotten to say about the video :p I'd like to see the arena movie much more since this is good crit movie but not much of anything else. :) Good UI, good crit movie. Skip the whole dps part since u'd never do that dps on a boss fight. For pvp, 2 / 5, for critmovie 4/ 5, so you get 3/5.

ahhh... elemental shaman pvp... :) lvl70 was a great time for it.. me with my ele sham and my friend with his hunter topped always dmg done and kills in BGs in lvl70. :)

epic! ive got myself an ele shammy (skullash), im a full on PvE kinda guy. Thanks to dual spec ive been rocking PvP ownin pretty hard, no one can stand up to a 12k LvB!!!
Straight up I pvp in resto gear too on my ele shaman because the survivability is immaculate.
I liked the vid sneaky lil shaman lol blasting every one from a distance is always the smart way to do things when ur casting unlike some priest and mages I have seen run right into a group of horde trying to be rambo then end up hugging the floor and typing in bg chat saying you guys suck for not backing me up.

Because I didnt have pvp gear at that time, that video I made half a year ago... But now I got like 4 deadly and furious shoulders etc..

elemental shaman is an excellent support class but cant take on 1v1 unless very skilled, kiting and good use of totems so wat we see here is FAIR! as he's got the crits and dps to be a supportive role which is good in bg... good work
Ok you had 1/3 things right there.
1) I actually have 3 80s. Paladin, Druid and Priest.
2)I don't arena with a rogue at all, I used to arena with a resto shaman.
3)However, I am just a nobody on the internet, same as you.

good points (OrcWyvern) If you put pressure on him you can break him,.,.,. BUT.,.,. With improved Fire Nova and Earth Totems, Instant-cast ghost wolf, And of course Thunderstorm, there are a lot of way for me to get away

Okey.. Some ppl have to agree with me that Lava burst is abit OP :P It's always around 10k :P And mostly many ppl have 20k hp~ It's a spell that takes 50%..... But it's sure some nice dmg for resto gear ;)
