melissa agatha lol I was just gonna comment this, had mine since March last year, with weekly usage, don't need that much, rose water works so great with it.
3 things about this mask from someone who's been using it for six months: 1. Do not mix it with water. The ph will be too high if you mix it with water. That is why you must use it with acv. You will get used to the smell. 2. As you said at the beginning, acv contains AHAs. AHAs are chemical exfoliants. With any chemical exfoliant product you will get a little worse before you get better. This is called purging and it is the blocked pores that you may not have even known were blocked coming forward and then healing. After the purging stage (give it about a month) this will no longer happen. The pimples are not new they are just newly noticeable. Once the purging stage has finished less new ones will form. 3. This mask is meant to be used once a week. Not three times a week on the nose. You can use it more as a spot treatment but that means spot treatment, not the general area of the spot. You also cannot spot treat blackheads. They're more of a slow, wait for them to clear out process. The reason your nose is getting dry is because you are using it way too much (and if I remember correctly, against the instructions on the box), not because the product is itself too drying.
Phoebe Phoebe rose water is not acidic enough to counteract the clay so it is likely that it will be too basic (remember we're not just using things at the right ph for the skin, were using things that will neutralise and end up at the right ph) and damage your skin. ACV without the mother I'm not too sure, but the mother itself has benefits for skin so you want to include it anyway.
Paige C I have really dry skin. And I've been planning to get this. Is this okay for dry skin? And aside from vinegar, is there anything else I could use it with?
Nia_Athena mud masks can be quite drying so you'd have to be careful if your have dry skin (maybe just use it on problem areas). And no I don't think you can mix it with anything else. I can't think of any skin safe things that are acidic enough
One thing to remember is clay masks draw things out. If you have a pimple under the skin that's not visible yet it may pull it to the surface quicker and make it seem like your breaking out. In my experience the first few uses "broke me out" but after using it regularly I have great results. That's why it's not recommended to use clay masks before you have something big to do.
Yess I feel this.. My skin look cleaner and brigther after rinse the mask, but after 1-2 days I got small pimples because the mask detox the skin and pull all the impuritiez
@@beamorales3477 i found out right after rinsed off the mask, you will feel your skin a bit red but its okay because thats how the mask work on. The mask really take all your impurities and make your skin feel soft and smooth instantly. If u have acne, the mask help dried-out your acne and reduce your acne size. Or if u have acne or oil bumps that about come out from your skin, the mask will help take them out on 1-2 days right after.
The pulsating feels like a heartbeat; the mask pulls a bunch of blood to the surface so you should be able to feel your heart pumping it through the veins in your face. That's also why your skin gets so so red if you leave it on for 20 minutes (I look like a tomato after I use that mask). All that blood being there is really good because it gives extra oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells so they'll be healthier
*TIP (PLEASE try this…): When the mask is mostly/completely dry, and it’s time for you to remove the clay mask (IF you have trouble removing the dried clay and/or if it’s painful/it causes discomfort)… Grab a “microfiber cloth” (vs. using just water & ur hands), soak it w/ warm/hot water (whichever u prefer) then, hold the cloth w/ both hands & press it onto your face (to re-moisten the clay) for a little bit, or until you feel like your face is not as tight anymore from the dried clay. Then, re-soak/remove remaining clay pieces from the cloth , and start “very gently” wiping away the mask then, repeat these two steps until all of the clay is gone. I’ve done it the hard way w/ my hands & water, and it was uncomfortable/slightly painful, very time consuming, more messy, and left my skin red! Using this new method (skeptically & reluctantly, at 1st), I avoided all of those problems, and it was completely painless & hassle-free!! As for the vinegar smell… There’s no fixing that, sorry (lol)! BUT, I’ve seen/heard that you could adjust the ratio of vinegar w/ “water” (preferably “filtered or distilled”) to lessen the pungency; ie: (if using equal parts; p/ instructions) 1/2Tbsp.-Clay (+) “(Substitute 1/2Tbsp.-Vinegar w/…) 1/4Tbsp.-Vinegar (+) 1/4Tbsp.-Water”!!?? Good luck, and I hope this helps!!❤️
Sorphea Justice Do you have any tips on how to ease the discomfort after using black charcoal mask may I ask?I find it very hard to rip it out of my face and my face becomes so red after using it
Krissy Aguilar everyone’s skin is different. Some products work better for others and some don’t. I work at Massage Envy and have to take training courses for the therapists and esthetician services. If after usually 3-4 uses and you don’t see any improvement in your skin, it’s best to stop the usage. Especially if it causes a serious reaction. Because from what I’ve seen first hand on myself, it took about 3 routine facials to clear up my skin. Idk if that helps!!
Krissy Aguilar often masks or treatments will bring clogged pores to the surface quicker than they would without using the mask. So your skin can be bad for a bit, but once those spots are gone your skin should get better.
Sameee 😂 But its my brothers . At the first few sessions yeah it makes me gag too but now im immune to it . As long as its works on me i dont really care with the smell 😂
Yeah. I've never thought the smell was a big deal. Watching the video, I started thinking my nose was crazy or something. White vinegar stinks way worse.
Try this mask along with a steamer.steam you face first let the pores open apply the mask while using the steam and take the steam some more then leave the steamer n let the mask dry off. Then wash it. It'll work wonders if you feel your skin needs deep cleaning from within 😘 I use it n it's my favourite
Why would face masks have to be a “sexy product” to use? That makes no sense. This product honestly was not used correctly which therefore wasn’t much beneficial. I wouldn’t recommend using this everyday because of how strong the products are.. and the “pulsating” feeling happens when it’s digging down to the pores, so if you didn’t feel it, it wasn’t on long enough. In all honesty, the product is suppose to leave your face pretty red since it’s basically sucking up all the blood towards the top layer of the skin and speed up the production of collagen. Your skin wasn’t red at all which didn’t give the best results. I didn’t like this review, it wasn’t accurate. But nice to see you giving it a go.
Love that you tried it multiple times over a period of time!! I think it gives a much better picture of how the product performs. Love your videos, Tina! Hope you can destress so the annoying pimples clear away!!
I bought this last year, I use it to detox my face every now and then when I need to, rather than an everyday mask since it does dry out the skin. Definitely prefer it without the Apple cider vinegar as well.
strawberry creme I'm not sure but it is incorrect. If you were to get a ph meter and measure the ph of the mask mixed with water it would be at a too high ph for your skin. Water itself is too high a ph, hence why toners exist. Your skin, and any skin products that are not immediately washed off and followed by a toner (so a mask that stays on your face would fit here) should be at a pH of around four. Water is pH 7 (although tap water can be higher depending on where you live) I believe the mask is 8/9. You need to mix it with something acidic, and acv is the best fit.
@@roanc3709 So wrong your information! The clay is alkaline, and the acv is acidic. The addition of acv is so that the clay is neutral. And a subtance that is acidic is 1-6 in the ph scale, 7 neutral and 8-14 is alkaline. So how is tap water alkaline???? And toners exist because the cleaners change the ph in the skin, not because of the water. Informe yourself first!!!
Berenice Marquez your skin is at a ph of around 4-5. 7, the ph of pure deionised water, is obviously too high. However, tap water is not pure water. It has things dissolved in it, whether intentionally or just from wherever it comes from, so it can sometimes have a ph slightly higher than 7 due to impurities. Impurities could also lower the ph but th impurities often found in tap water usually increase it. This is even worse than the high ph of 7 for your skin, which, again, needs to remain at a ph of around 4-5. The clay is not neutral once you mix with acv. You don't want neutral. You want around 4-5, because you don't want to disrupt the ph of your skin. You are right however that mixing with water will create an alkaline mask as the clay is basic (basic, not alkaline. Solids cannot be alkaline). I am informed, you would realise that if you fact checked yourself.
These kind of clay mask I like to apply before I go for my morning shower. That ways it gets easy to wash off the mask because it can get messy washing off any kind of clay mask. I haven't tried this one yet but it has been in my wish list for a long time hehe.
I wouldn't recommend putting this mask at morning or day, It's better to use at night, so when ur skin already clean (from the mask) there's no dust to attack your face
I wash my face in the bath (not the shower), then apply the mask and let it sit while I soak in the bath😂 then rinse it off with clean water from the faucet
The best way for clay masks is to mix them with yoghurt!!! Especially for sensitive skin. And it's also worth to remember that people with sensitive skin shouldn't let it dry, because it cause more damages. And the best type for sensitive skin is red or rose clay. And it's obvious that you take it of with warm water.
divyanshi goyal no you can't. The clay is quite alkaline which is why you need to mix it with the vinegar, so that they neutralise and the ph is suitable for your skin. If you use water the ph will be too alkaline and you will damage your skin.
I mix the clay with a drop or 2 of tea tree oil, and make the vinegar smell less pungent. It also gives you a tingling sensation in a good way. Try it, also good for acne
vjw227 I know I was just responding to things quite quickly so I didn't remember there was a difference. My point, which still stands, is that the ph is way too high without ACV
Tina, the idea behind bentonite clay masks is to dry up sebum and clean out impurities. So that means, the impurities are going to surface first 😕 = pimple/pustule on lipline. The mask is not exfoliating so you probably won't see smoother skin, you should see less impurities. I don't recommend the apple cider vinegar for you or anyone with sensitive to dry skin. For your skin, I would recommend 60% water and 40% clay, then apply with fingers thinly across skin. The spatula you used to apply mask left a much thicker amount which made it harder to dry and be more effective. You can add more clay the next time for a 55 water/45 clay ratio. Once you have a pustule, you should gently break the surface with a clean disinfected pin and remove debris. I am masochistic with pustules and place an alcohol pad directly on it after expressing it. It stings but the sting lets me know it's doing the job. Whatever works for you is good. You mentioned recent breakouts...these pimples are in hormonal areas so it's possible (or probable) your hormones were running higher than usual, or higher at an expected time. Being an esthetician, I usually wind up in education mode quickly, and am honestly not trying to be preachy or pushy (even if this post comes across that way). I really enjoy your personality, channel, and the great info you impart to us all. Best wishes. 😊💚
I love this mask, but I wouldn't do it everyday or before a special event, it tends to bring everything to the surface it's more like once a month for me and my skin loves it. I usually mix it with some activated charcoal and a face oil to help with the intensity of the bentonite. Thanks for the video Tina
1030ct this mask is not supposed to be used every day, you can use it like twice a week but it is not a daily mask. It’s too drying for the skin to be used every day. I use it once or twice a week depending on how my skin has been and if I’ve been sweating a lot.
Hey there, i am indian and I would like to tell you that any sort of clay you use for facepack, it is important to know that you should mix it with the ingredients according to your skin type. If you have oily skin, water or curd or Apple cidar vinegar would be helpful. If you have dry skin, then you should mix the honey with it to have the better results. The main work that does any indian clay is that it soaks up oil and toxins from your face and makes it more clear. But it clearly cannot remove blackheads. Because they are not meant for that
this is truly my favorite clay mask ever! I've literally had it in my house my whole life, because it was something that my mom's grandma gave her from her beauty salon and it truly works wonders ... it is definitely one of the most powerful clay face masks I've ever used to this day. I recommend using it with apple cider vinegar (and not water) which makes the consistency more powerful if you have dry sensitive acne prone skin like myself you will love this! it drys out pimples, tightens skin and unclogs pores I would say to minimize facial movements because this mask dries tight!!( also use a lip balm with it because it's a little bit drying) it's been in my house for years and you can definitely get way way more then 10 to 15 uses like she says here😂 well I'm going to go write this review on Amazon LOL just thought I might let people I know that this is a really great mask from my experience lmao😂😂
Mai Elaine I have dry sensitive acne prone skin too and thought to ask did your skin start to break out when you first started using it? Cause mine does and I use mine with Apple cider Vinegar
Hi Tina, just a small suggestion. 1) for dry skin = mix it with yoghurt and rose water and don't let it dry completely. 2) for oily skin/normal skin = mix it with rose water and let it dry completely. Also, you need to apply a thin mask so that it dries quickly. People in India mix this clay with other powders too like sandalwood, neem or turmeric based on the type of skin or the treatment required. Also since it is not a peel of mask, it needs to be washed with water. Hope you don't have any more breakouts. Cheers!
Team Laman i said it in my head like the OffSpring "Give it to me Tina!! Uh huh uh huh! Give it to Me Tina!!...and all the girlies say you're pretty fly for a white guy!!"... 😶
I just recently bought this product and it is already my holy grail. It gets rid of my acne scars and pores and leaves my skin so smooth and soft. I’m so happy with it!
I loooveee this clay. I use it with 1 part water, 1 part ACV, so it still works but is less harsh and smelly. I have flaky, oily skin with acne, and I leave it on for 30 minutes. After washing it off, I use a toner and then immediately moisturize. After all, it is clay, so it dries out your skin a lot and you need to moisturize. It's significantly improved my acne! I use it 2-3 times a week. Also, try not to move your face *at all* when wearing it because it itches like a mofo when you do lol
I thought it said only to use it once a week on the package, no? My skin is pretty bad with the acne and the marks, so I won't mind using it more than once.
the smell shouldn’t even be a factor in the performance of the mask. I’ve tried it with and without but I only use it without on a regular basis and it worked wonders. Before using it I had dull, flaky, textured, acne filled skin with several dark marks and the mask alone helped all of that. Freaking 10/10
This is a little off topic: but it’s always irritating when something called “Aztec Secret” has a Mayan pyramid on the packaging. They are two different cultures. Same goes for “Mayan Calendar” and showing the round Aztec Calendar. 🤦🏻♀️ these cultures are not interchangeable. Ok stepping off my soap box now.
For those suffering with Hyperhydrosis and are wondering about detox of the armpits, I am trying it out along with a natural lush deodorant because sadly it doesn’t even matter if I use natural deodorant opposed to antiperspirants because I sweat through antiperspirants no matter what I do. I will keep y’all updated. I use this clay with 1 part clay one part ACV
I've been doing this mask for a few months now and the clay + acv mixture has reallllly cleared up my skin. I have combination - oily skin and have a lot of problems with congested pores and this has been a miracle mask along with my skin care routine. I had a lot of congestion that wouldn't go away on my nose and finally now I can see it reducing. I'm thinking of doing a video on my skin care soon because I'm finally at the stage where my skin is starting settle down.. finally 🙏
I have used it multiple times and it didn't smell in my opinion. Yes the vinegar isnt "pretty" but it wasnt that strong. And it has helped me acne and texture quite a lot so far. I love it. And removing the mask wasnt painful. Youre supposed to use hot water like it says on the packaging
Kasia Katazyna i agree. I thought i will struggle in removing the mask but it was really easy using warm water. Plus most review says that the “pulsating” freaks them out and stings a bit but i dont feel any pain at all.
Always mix the clay with rose water. And let it get completely dry after applying. You will get the best results. Also avoid using it in consecutive days.. Give breaks in between.
I've been using this mask for a while and it does continue to extract the pimples out of your face down from where you didn't even know you had any for usually a day after. Some people also use this as an under arm or foot detox mask. You can also use this if you have maybe some body acne or in the area of your back where your hair is constantly causing build up from washing with shampoo and conditioner.
This mask breaks you out initially because it draws out all your impurities. Keep using it after that initial break out and it will immediately clear your skin. Trust me! I used to hate this mask, but once I continued to use it after the initial break out, it worked wonders for my skin.
This cleared up my skin after 6 uses of that mask and I am in L O V E. I used to have bad acne and usually would put a lot of makeup to cover everything, but now I don’t use makeup anymore because my skin is just amazing now so, 10/10 recommend to anyone!
I’ve been using the same mask for years. I mixed it with apple cider too but I find it too drying when doing that so I added few drops of my favorite face oil and it worked perfectly!
I use a homemade toner made of equal parts apple cider vinegar, green tea and witch hazel. Works really well for acne and oily skin. I've used it for years.
I have acne prone skin and ive been using this mask for 3 months it’s really helped my skin, apply it once or twice a week all over the face, I wouldn’t recommend doing what you did by applying it on the affected areas as its a strong mask it can irritate the skin. Use it in moderation. I also mix rose water with the powder and vinegar x
I love this product! I use it at least once a week. I have oily/combo skin, and it takes care of my breakouts fast. It’s interesting you had a different experience with it. The smell isn’t too bad for me, although I do not like the scent of vinegar. Maybe try it with water next time?
It really really works for oily skin ,I have a very oily skin and I tried this and can not believe that it actually works ,my pores are shrinking and I get better results when I tried vinegar 👌
i use the mask for 40minutes usually and it really helped a lot, but i tried leaving it on for 1 hour and it cleared up my skin and im never seen it so radiant and clean. Highly recommend.
I just recently bought the mask and I used water instead of apple cider vinegar. Works just as well and my skin feels amazing and the pores on my nose either shrink es or vanished almost.
Tina we have been using it for a year now. We use it 2x a week. I mix it with 50:50 ratio of water and apple cider vinegar. It helps luke warm water to remove it. I feel refresh and very clean after used. I still continue to use this product until today.
This is kinda multani mitti thing u should know the way to use it • if u have a oily skin u should add milk in it • It'll dries and cools urr skin so u should use it in summer but u can use it in winter also • If u have dry skin u should add milk with some glycerine or any oil • Best way to use it that atcually works the best on my skin and I've been using this for years:- 1 tbsp gram flour 1 tbsp of clay (multani mitti is the word used in india instead of clay) 1 tbsp of yougart And a pinch of turmeric After applying wash it with cold or normal water Thats it👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍hope u like it
10-15 facials ur kidding lmao i’ve has mine since january of this year and im not even close to being half way done, u barely need much to cover ur entire face also
I use this mask on a weekly basis. And I do enjoy it because it has flattened and dried my acne spots. I don’t have sensitive skin so I do put it on for the full 20 minutes. I recommend doing it before you shower that way it is easier to take off in the shower as the water is running. It’s a really good product and has worked for me👍🏼
I have only just finished mine and it took 1 year! I have acne prone skin and I absolutely love this mask! Draws out all the stuff onto my face and then clears it up after applying the mask twice the following week! I leave it on for 30 minutes
Lady’s and gentlemen, I have tried this method for my skin and so did a friend of mine! Now the question is does it work.... yes it does!!! But before you try it just a little heads up, don’t think it will give you an immediate result. I started doing this once a week for about a month, and I noticed that my skin was getting worse and worse so I thought I’d stop because. I didn’t think it was working but then I thought I’ll try it for a little longer, but maybe use it twice a week. And what a difference it made eventually my skin cleared right up and went from a oily combination to a normal! I wondered as to why it was making my skin worse and that’s because the treatment was pulling all the toxins out of my skin! Definitely add some activated charcoal and some coconut oil to the mix and you’ll be laughing!!! Xx
This mask definitely helps skin types that are more oily, acne prone and best to use with organic ACV like Bragg's if you have it in your area. Adding a thicker layer to the skin really helps bring out all the toxins, and blemishes you may have. I usually keep it on for about 30mins that's my preference and always helps my skin renew it's self. Another amazing mask you could try is Neem's Clay Mask it dries down much softer and the herbs in it definitely help exfoliate your skin. Hopefully this helps someone out :)
I only use it once a week. I noticed after I started using it that my skin purged and then it went away. It's been two months since I've used it with my regular skin care routine, it has adjusted and I love it.
I just wanted to say that this is one of the best videos because you actually touch the product out for a whole week not just testing it just one time on RUclips and say that it doesn't work thank you
lisa nelson it's not that good. Firstly this is meant to be done once a week. Maybe a couple of times as a spot treatment but you shouldn't just plaster if on your nose three times a week. It even says on the instructions. Secondly you can't see the benefit of any skincare product in a week, especially ones with an exfoliating effect like this does as they have a purging period where it appears to get worse (it doesn't). She should have done this mask once a week for at least a month before reviewing it.
I've been using this mask for so long but I've noticed that the more liquidy it is, the less it works. If u use less apple cider vinegar and leave it as a thicker clay you will DEFINETLY feel the pulsation along with the pulling.
sumbul alam no you can't. The powder is too alkaline. You need the vinegar to react and make it a more suitable ph. If you make it with water it will damage your skin
fyi. rose water has a ph of about 5, which is also acidic and will neutralize the clay's alkaline ph. it's less acidic than acv, which is why it has less of an aggressive drawing action.
I use bentonite clay once a week, though I add 1/2 tsp activated charcoal and 1 tsp powder brewers yeast mixed to a paste with milk... Works so well, I don't get pimples when used and has cleared up all my blackheads and fixed redness and smooths the skin. You just have to moisturise after using. I leave it for 30 minutes
Omg Tina your videos are amazing......for the next Tina tries it can you please try doing your makeup with wet brushes please No matter what video you do .....keep in mind that you are the best you tuber everrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, when r u coming to Dubai for a meet'ngreet???
why nobody ever speaks about drying effects of any clay mask? it can be used on oily or maybe normal skin. if you have dry or sensitive skin - DO NOT try clay mask, it will irritate your skin badly. and never - NEVER - let a clay mask fully dry on your face, it will drain all moisture you've had from your skin.
IVE USED IT BEDORE YOU REVIEWED IT AND ITS AMAZING! dont be scared if youre all red afterward it goes away, just put moisturizer on and do the mask before bed rather than in the morning.
I have been using Calcium Bentonite Clay mask for about 3 years now (not this particular brand), and my blackheads are all gone now. I used to have quite a lot blackheads, but after using this mask for about 6 months, I barely have any, so if this is your problem, I would recommend it to you. I have not noticed any difference in my pores (I have big pores) or my acne, which is what this type of products are sold for, I mean, yes, your pores look smaller right after you take it off since is a tightening mask, but it's not a long terms stuff. However, I had not found it painful or uncomfortable to take off, the only noticeable things are that it is super itchy, since makes your face really tight, also, is quite drying, but that is not a problem for me since I have oily skin, plus, it makes my skin super soft, but if you are on the dry side, I would recommend you to use a good moisturizer. P.S: this stuff last an eternity, I use mine monthly or twice per month, and I have 3 years using the same pot (200 gr). P.S2: I have extremely sensitive skin, so I mixed it in with only water.
your face gets itchy and dry because you use it with water. the ph of the mask is too high and if you mix it with water it will remain too high and damge your skin, causing those symptoms. using acv will mean it is at the right ph and will not damage your skin or make it itchy. i know it doesnt sound right but mixing it with water is too harsh and mixing it with acv is more gentle.
I am using this product and I'm totally loving it it flattens my acne and fade my acne scar slowly and my face is not super oily anymore, my friends started to notice the difference on my face. 😍😍😍
The Indian healing clay mask is such a huge staple for me. I have extremely dry skin and although the mask is drying I follow up with my moisturizer right after and that tends to keep it from starting to flake. I use the mask as TLC. Last night I used it after wearing lots of heavy makeup because my skin has not been used to stage makeup. The mask definitely brings everything to the surface which does tend to surface breakouts every now and then but it works wonders once everything is out as long as you continue use about once a week.
Hlw Tina ....I m from India ... personally I want to say that...the clay is not use for blackhead ...but it is use for dry up the pimple and acne and for sweating season for coolness only ...it mix with raw milk not with vinegar
Skin tends to be around 5.5 making it slightly acidic. So you don't necessarily want your skin to be at a 7 which is neutral pH. And just like another comment said, the clay will be basic, and the vinegar will be acidic. 2 acids don't neutralize acidity. Depending on how much of each there is will depend on the final pH. So using a toner after you wash this off should probably be used to get the pH of your skin back to normal levels.
Paige C actually if your skin is sensitive you shouldn't be using apple cider vinegar at all it'll dry out your skin and you might start to even break out.
I use this mask with apple cider vinegar and tumeric and it has done wonders for my skin. Try using an apple cider vinegar with mother, so it still has all the nutrients. The one you used looks like its been filtered. I used it every day for 7 days to detox the skin then twice a week since I have oily skin. Its best not to let the mask dry fully as this draws out all of the natural oils and goodness from your skin
It's called Multani mitti. U r supposed to use it with water or rose water( turmeric is optional) .it has the natural smell of clay n doesn't stink. It doesn't have any faul smell as u say. Ppl with dry skin should use it less though. One of the best ways to treat ur skin naturally. Do try to use the things the way they r used in their traditional way else u will not see the results of it.there is a reason y these things r still famous.
oh wow, what wrong rubbsh info my fellow indians pass, this is Bentonite clay and not fuller's earth . Fuller's earth ( Multani Mitti) is wayyyy different from Bentonite clay
Been using this for 2 years and it CAN be drying if you use it on its own. Best routine I've found is twice a week max, plus always tone and moisturize after. In colder months I add a hydrating sheet mask. Works great 😊
This mask is SUPER powerful! I accidently slept with it on once and I woke up at like 2am in the morning crying cus it was so tight and i took it off and there were like what looked like scratches on the bottom of my chin. So, it literally tore my skin apart it so powerful! DO NOT LEAVE ON ANY LONGER THAN 20 MINUTES GUYS!!
Since it's calcium, the clay is NOT acidic. You mean it's basic. Otherwise you'd just be putting acid into acid, that doesn't neutralize anything.
RukiahTaicho I was looking for this comment!!
THANK YOU
RukiahTaicho was just thinking that XD
I think she just meant the apple cider vinegar is acidic! :)
I thought my whole chemistry was twisted. thank you!
It will definitely last more than 10-15 facials. I've had it for months, and I only used 1/3 of it.
melissa agatha lol I was just gonna comment this, had mine since March last year, with weekly usage, don't need that much, rose water works so great with it.
Sameee
I was honestly expecting her to say 10-15 years 😂😂
Adrian Corday hi may I know what rosewater you are using (any brands you recommend ?) also how often you use it ? Thank you :)
I’ve used it around like 20 times n I’ve barely made a dent in it
am I the only one who doesn’t mind the vinegar smell? like at all
Omg same😂 i used it as a toner heheh
But its makes my face worst cuz my friend said its acidic hmmm
I lovee it
yeah, I don't know why people are so dramatic over it, it doesn't smell that bad.
😅😅same
You are damn damn lucky. I cant bear the smell. Always have a gag reflex
3 things about this mask from someone who's been using it for six months:
Paige C what if i use it with rose water or with acv without mother, wouod it work the same?
Paige C I see. Thankfully I haven't bought it. Thank you ! :)
@@carolinachintya5747 hi, after how many days do the great results start to show?
@@beamorales3477 i found out right after rinsed off the mask, you will feel your skin a bit red but its okay because thats how the mask work on. The mask really take all your impurities and make your skin feel soft and smooth instantly. If u have acne, the mask help dried-out your acne and reduce your acne size. Or if u have acne or oil bumps that about come out from your skin, the mask will help take them out on 1-2 days right after.
Hi. How often do you use this mask?
The pulsating feels like a heartbeat; the mask pulls a bunch of blood to the surface so you should be able to feel your heart pumping it through the veins in your face. That's also why your skin gets so so red if you leave it on for 20 minutes (I look like a tomato after I use that mask). All that blood being there is really good because it gives extra oxygen and nutrients to your skin cells so they'll be healthier
Keri you smart Ass ; D. Lol. Great comment. I'm a nurse n ure right hun
Thank you
oMG SAME my face gets SUPER red
my face gets crazy red but i love the pulse feeling lol. it really does feel like a heartbeat
Keri thank you so much for this! Good to know.
You don't have to use vinegar at all you can use just water. The vinegar is used if you want the clay mask to become more potent
Sorphea Justice Do you have any tips on how to ease the discomfort after using black charcoal mask may I ask?I find it very hard to rip it out of my face and my face becomes so red after using it
I take mine off in the shower! Takes no work at all
+Limario oppa if i was you i would try a different mask
+Limario oppa have you heard of Amazon Prime? If so you could order a Dead Sea Mask bc i use it and i dont have any reaction
10-15 facials ??? More like 100. Ive had mine FOREVER
IKR??? What I was thinking, mine lasts like a year!!
😂😂wow
When you use a detox mask, it draws impurities to the surface. You have to go through the bad to get the best skin possible
With every facial, homemade or professional, usually your skin gets worse before it gets better.
Juliette Tapia so is it normal that this really put bumps/whiteheads on the surface of my skin?
Krissy Aguilar everyone’s skin is different. Some products work better for others and some don’t. I work at Massage Envy and have to take training courses for the therapists and esthetician services. If after usually 3-4 uses and you don’t see any improvement in your skin, it’s best to stop the usage. Especially if it causes a serious reaction. Because from what I’ve seen first hand on myself, it took about 3 routine facials to clear up my skin. Idk if that helps!!
Juliette Tapia it did help. thank you! 😊
Krissy Aguilar Awesome!!
Krissy Aguilar often masks or treatments will bring clogged pores to the surface quicker than they would without using the mask. So your skin can be bad for a bit, but once those spots are gone your skin should get better.
Her having “angry breakouts” is me when my skin is good ... :(
I don’t find the smell of apple cider vinegar that bad but my boyfriend coughs and gags like that every time lol. Maybe I’m just used to it...
Jessica Gagliardo me too lol I don't mind the smell but my brother hates it
No I love them smell of vinegar it reminds me of like home cooking with vinegar. It doesn’t bother me at all.
It makes me gag. I cannot get used to it lol. I’ve used it soo many times you’d think I get used to it but nope 😂
Annie sameeeee
Annie thanks for the suggestion
Can you also do this with a pot of hot water on an oven?
Or is that dangerously stupid and my dumb ass is gonna destroy my skin completely?
Kuro o.o yes I used to do it before I owned a steamer. But make sure not to heat up the water too much.😊✌
Annie pores dont open or close🙄
On the bottle, they advice to use once a week, am not sure the people that use it daily are doing it correctly. That's a little extreme
Victoria Perez the ph of the clay is too high so if you mix it with water it will damage your skin. Far better to not use it at all.
Paige C then why does the container itself have a choice between apple cider vinegar and water?
strawberry creme I'm not sure but it is incorrect.
Same lol
I wouldn't recommend putting this mask at morning or day, It's better to use at night, so when ur skin already clean (from the mask) there's no dust to attack your face
Same wkwkwk
I wash my face in the bath (not the shower), then apply the mask and let it sit while I soak in the bath😂 then rinse it off with clean water from the faucet
You take showers in the morning? Or once in the morning and once at night?
The best way for clay masks is to mix them with yoghurt!!! Especially for sensitive skin. And it's also worth to remember that people with sensitive skin shouldn't let it dry, because it cause more damages. And the best type for sensitive skin is red or rose clay. And it's obvious that you take it of with warm water.
This product is very popular, everytime i'm about to buy, its sold out.😥
Neo Culture T- Taengoo try searching for multani mitti online. it's the same thing!

U can try it with rose water
It won't stink nd rose water will be better for pimples
divyanshi goyal no you can't.
Paige C it’s basic
vjw227 I know I was just responding to things quite quickly so I didn't remember there was a difference. My point, which still stands, is that the ph is way too high without ACV
divyanshi goyal is this multani mitti?
Annmarie Teta thanks for the info! Very helpful
I love this mask, but I wouldn't do it everyday or before a special event, it tends to bring everything to the surface it's more like once a month for me and my skin loves it. I usually mix it with some activated charcoal and a face oil to help with the intensity of the bentonite. Thanks for the video Tina
1030ct what do you exactly mean by ‘bring everything to the surface’?
eggbert all the pimples that are beaneth the surface of the skin get brought to surface. Hence why some people say it breaks them out.
Cheers!
Swati Kamath what about combination & sensitive skin? Any suggestion?
Thank you .
nanaom kham mix it with manku honey
Swati Kamath tq for info. But how many time have to apply this product in a week or month?
Nana Farhana don't apply it regularly it can be little drying so I suggest 3-4 times a week
How much does it cost?
Give it to me Tina if you dont like it hahaha 😂
Venice Gaddi-Laman i will accept even its shitty 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
Seulgee Park it is actually not shitty. It removes the redness of my pimples marks though. I could say I'm now blemish free. 😊
It's most definitely not shitty.
Team Laman i said it in my head like the OffSpring "Give it to me Tina!! Uh huh uh huh! Give it to Me Tina!!...and all the girlies say you're pretty fly for a white guy!!"... 😶
My Little Family 😉😉😉😃😃😃
Michelle you are right. Apple cider vinegar dries the skin. Too much if a strong astringent.
Yes!! I was like "Who said equal parts???😶" doesn't even have be equal parts with just water bc it's clay :/
Aubrey Walder do you use water?
_ dot. Yes :)
I'm thinking of doing a video on my skin care soon because I'm finally at the stage where my skin is starting settle down.. finally 🙏
hayleyhaj how often did you use the mask in a week? Did you apply it every night?
this mask definitely saved my skin! i tried out a lot of iconic clay masks and nothing performed better than this one :)
No. Always mix it with acv. The mask is very basic and will bee to alkaline if you mix it with rose water and will damage your skin
@@roanc3709 It doesn't damage skin. It is tried and tested by myself!

I've been using this mask for a while and it does continue to extract the pimples out of your face down from where you didn't even know you had any for usually a day after. Some people also use this as an under arm or foot detox mask. You can also use this if you have maybe some body acne or in the area of your back where your hair is constantly causing build up from washing with shampoo and conditioner.
the coughing was a bit dramatic lmaoooo
Old af comment, but nah. It wasn't dramatic. Apple cider vinegar is vile.
@Maddie: I had the same reaction as her. I was coughing. Not everyone can stand the SMELL of Apple Cider Vinegar!
Girl try putting vinegar in your face for a year we'll see if u wont ever react BAD
Your comment is dramatic smh

This mask breaks you out initially because it draws out all your impurities. Keep using it after that initial break out and it will immediately clear your skin. Trust me! I used to hate this mask, but once I continued to use it after the initial break out, it worked wonders for my skin.
This cleared up my skin after 6 uses of that mask and I am in L O V E. I used to have bad acne and usually would put a lot of makeup to cover everything, but now I don’t use makeup anymore because my skin is just amazing now so, 10/10 recommend to anyone!
We've used this for years, since I was a teenager. I'm 28 now, so it's been awhile! It always works for us
Test sulfur pink powder (like the Mario Badescu drying lotion) !!
Natalia Pessoa, that stuff is so amazing! It makes my pimples so away twice as fast as they usually would.
I've used it for years.
jooleah I'll give it a try
Do you use tea tree oil or the plant green tea?
I love your videos so much!!!! I feel like I'm always getting an honest review 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️
i use the mask for 40minutes usually and it really helped a lot, but i tried leaving it on for 1 hour and it cleared up my skin and im never seen it so radiant and clean. Highly recommend.
Hey Tina, can you test out Tati's new pills and share the results! It could be nice, if anyone is intresting!
I just recently bought the mask and I used water instead of apple cider vinegar. Works just as well and my skin feels amazing and the pores on my nose either shrink es or vanished almost.
In India it is called "Multani mitti"
that's not bentonite clay
Silver shades
I thought it was!! But can multani mitti be mixed with acv?
@@rairabegum1330 personally water/rosewater works
@silver shades
Oh have u reduced ur acne by using it
@@rairabegum1330 for acne id recommend bentonite clay
Tina we have been using it for a year now. We use it 2x a week. I mix it with 50:50 ratio of water and apple cider vinegar. It helps luke warm water to remove it. I feel refresh and very clean after used. I still continue to use this product until today.
I think Tina should do something bloopers will love to see it
This is kinda multani mitti thing u should know the way to use it
• if u have a oily skin u should add milk in it
• It'll dries and cools urr skin so u should use it in summer but u can use it in winter also
• If u have dry skin u should add milk with some glycerine or any oil
• Best way to use it that atcually works the best on my skin and I've been using this for years:-
1 tbsp gram flour
1 tbsp of clay (multani mitti is the word used in india instead of clay)
1 tbsp of yougart
And a pinch of turmeric
After applying wash it with cold or normal water
Thats it👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍hope u like it
10-15 facials ur kidding lmao i’ve has mine since january of this year and im not even close to being half way done, u barely need much to cover ur entire face also
I use this mask on a weekly basis.
I leave it on for 30 minutes
is it weird that i’m using it at
this very moment
thank you for doing a real, in-depth review and not just a first impression!
Xx
Rose Mary thank youuu 💋
I've never had a problem with this and I've been using it for years. Use something else instead of ACV. I usually use rose water or something similar.
I love it when this mask dries and cracks on my face whenever I move my facial muscles 😂
Today is Holi in India.
Happy Holi Tina and everyone
Satya Manda happy holi
I'm Indian too
Satya Manda omg I wish I could go to holi
I only use it once a week. I noticed after I started using it that my skin purged and then it went away. It's been two months since I've used it with my regular skin care routine, it has adjusted and I love it.
It's much *much* cheaper to buy Bentonite Clay in a bit bigger bulk, you can buy 5 times as much that way for the same price.
The product itself is 9$ but shipping is about 15$ to Finland 😑
I've been using this mask for so long but I've noticed that the more liquidy it is, the less it works. If u use less apple cider vinegar and leave it as a thicker clay you will DEFINETLY feel the pulsation along with the pulling.
i bought this mask and was really excited but it made me break out in a rash :( also it is really hard to wash off for me
I’ve just recently gotten into make up so I’ve been watching all your old tutorials and I’m obsessed LOL love you Tina
u can even try it with rose water instead of Apple cider vinegar...... at least it's smell is bearable......overall luv ur vids .... 😇😇
sumbul alam no you can't.
Sheetal Lodhia its acidic, but not enough to counteract the clay. It will still end up too basic.
It doesnt mix with water. It clumps up!😭😭😭
I use bentonite clay once a week, though I add 1/2 tsp activated charcoal and 1 tsp powder brewers yeast mixed to a paste with milk... Works so well, I don't get pimples when used and has cleared up all my blackheads and fixed redness and smooths the skin. You just have to moisturise after using. I leave it for 30 minutes
Omg Tina your videos are amazing......for the next Tina tries it can you please try doing your makeup with wet brushes please
No matter what video you do .....keep in mind that you are the best you tuber everrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, when r u coming to Dubai for a meet'ngreet???
americ loves trump what is your problem..... Do you like know me or something
I just received this yesterday from an Amazon order and have not tried it so I'm excited to see a review especially from Tina!
why nobody ever speaks about drying effects of any clay mask? it can be used on oily or maybe normal skin. if you have dry or sensitive skin - DO NOT try clay mask, it will irritate your skin badly. and never - NEVER - let a clay mask fully dry on your face, it will drain all moisture you've had from your skin.
Лень батьковна I have EXTREMELY dry skin. I use this all the time. Those with dry skin do not be discouraged because the mask is wonderful
Actually, make lots of sense. Anyway, ACV is too pricey here in my country :( but I will try it like that one day, for sure! thx.
I am using this product and I'm totally loving it it flattens my acne and fade my acne scar slowly and my face is not super oily anymore, my friends started to notice the difference on my face. 😍😍😍
Try sand and sky pink mask pleaseeeeeeeeee !!!!
Use Rose water instead of vinegar.. + to remove the mask wash it wit water... don't even try to remove it without water..
I swear literally everyone in the comments have this! 😂 Even I have it too for some reason... 😅✨
I tried it and my face turned red :)
sultana 5005 that's normal. It's not bad
And youre happy about it?
Post Malone well yeah, that’s a good sign as long as it’s not an allergic reaction lol
Tina you should have not used vinager. You should use milk or rose water. Us indians have been using it for years
Shopalista if you do not use vinegar the ph will be too alkaline and you will damage your skin
Paige C and that is why we use milk !!
Shopalista milk is not acidic enough. The resulting mask will damage your skin
Paige C actually if your skin is sensitive you shouldn't be using apple cider vinegar at all it'll dry out your skin and you might start to even break out.
so if your skin is sensitive you can use milk? or rosewater? ^^
Its best not to let the mask dry fully as this draws out all of the natural oils and goodness from your skin
i use the mask at the moment 😂😂😂
I actually mix it with apple cider vinegar and a drop of lavender essential oil. It’s so relaxing and smells wonderful
Manasa Patil the ph will be too alkaline if mixed with water
oh wow, what wrong rubbsh info my fellow indians pass, this is Bentonite clay and not fuller's earth . Fuller's earth ( Multani Mitti) is wayyyy different from Bentonite clay
Manisha Reddy not true. fuller's earth typically consists of palygorskite or bentonite. please educate yourself before correcting people so strongly.
Been using this for 2 years and it CAN be drying if you use it on its own. Best routine I've found is twice a week max, plus always tone and moisturize after. In colder months I add a hydrating sheet mask. Works great 😊
Please do a India makeup video and a helpful video
I love the way you say pH it's adorable
acidic vinegar + acidic clay ≠ pH neutralisation.... maybe you should do some proper research prior
the clay is basic. she probably misspoke
