Thing about the Jones discourse is that both things can be true. It’s not a bad thing to have two arguments coexist, cause he was absolutely let down by the drops from Robinson and Slayton. But obviously he probably leaves 14 points on the field on the two under-throws to Slayton.
I feel like this game just sums up the Jones experience. Like if his team makes mistakes he can’t elevate the team to negate the mistakes and make game-changing plays. E.g. tonight cause ultimately had those throws been on target we aren’t sitting here talking about the drops we’re probably celebrating a W.
Also the stat that Jones is 2-14 with a pick on 20+ throws is pretty indefensible.

None of the "DROPS" were dropped TDs. So answer me this. HOW MUCH FAITH YOU HAVE WE WOULD OF SCORED ON ANY OF THOSE DRIVES WITH DROP PASSES?
DUDE is ASS. We had 0 passed get into the ENDZONE. 0
Slaton is wasted with DANIEL JONES so is Hyatt. He cannot throw the ball deep. DEEP THREATS are a wasted talent with that QB.

Idc if Burns doesn’t end up with double digit sacks. Can he at least be a force on the defensive line??? Paying $30 million a year to be non-existent in the majority of the game

    • @DennisNieves-j7r

Burns is a OLB in a 3-4. He is not a DE in the 4-3 Tampa 2. This defense needs large physical DEs. Burns is a waste of the money and roster spot.
If he ends up with double digits in sacks, the fan boys will beat us over the head with numbers. This guy is not, NOT, an impact player.
And Tibs got back field pressure but can't make a backfield play except for one a game. And people are like... " He had a great game!"
This is a bad team on many levels. It starts with a bad head coach and his curl-flat passing attack, and just one run play, an inside zone to the same side.

Mike, there's no denying it, more often than not, Jones throws behind the receivers. If anyone who doubts that statement - watch the film. Watch every reception. 80% of the time the receiver has to stop and wait for the ball, or turn around and catch the ball behind him. Jones made a few nice passes, but to be a top paid QB in the NFL that's just not good enough.

U are on the money with the neck injury comparison between Peyton Manning & Daniel Jones. Jones isn't throwing past 35yards. Receivers are waiting on the ball or coming back to it. And they had a step or two on the defender already. Meaning it's a TD if they get hit in stride

  • @louismoore512
    @louismoore512 2 дня назад +1

2 things can be true at the same time. Drop balls yes but Jones was an issue also. He puts a ceiling on this team. You have to play perfect to win if Jones is QB. Deep ball is trash also! Richard Sherman said it best after the game. It's easy to win games like that when you're playing Daniel Jones. He's not clutch and he doesn't elevate those around him. All we heard was let's give him an offensive line and wide receivers and he's still bad. It's been 6 years. He's gone after this year so bench him and don't risk him getting hurt.

If you can't throw the ball deep especially when it's open you're not going to be able to win many games in the NFL would a quarterback that can't pre-snap read the defense and throw the ball deep you're missing one play on 4th down when singletary almost got stopped a free defensive player came off the left side and a real quarterback would be able to see that and check out of the run play cuz you got to run play running straight at him luckily singletary Dodge the first tackler and made the first down well if he was a real quarterback he made a check out of that to a quick slant play but he's a college quarterback where the coaches got to tell him to do everything he can't do nothing on his own because he's not that good or confident and all y'all that just want to look at his little short passes and he was accurate doing y'all really don't understand football and don't get me started on Robinson that man is too little of course you going to have some good games here and there but he just too little

Eere shittier with out him innthat regard and jones deepball is gone after all those injuries. Coach Dabs isnt perfect but he can clearly coach good football. If we have Jayden Daniels we win this game. I dont eant schoen back but i do want Dabs to get his QB.

I am still a massive DJ defender, but he lost us this one by being ok and not great.
I have no clue what happened to his accuracy. Injury? A lot of these balls that were underthrown I know DJ should hit, he has in the past and the one thing I can say about him is he is very accurate on slants hitting people in stride, or adding enoigh loft on deep balls to slayton.
The accuracy wasnt there last season either, so its not injury...
I think its mental and he will settle down, juat wish it was this week.

There is a lot of stuff to like about the giants this year. The offense has been getting better every week, dj was going through multiple reads, he is more elusive in the pocket. Without saquon he is in a far more pass heavy offense, for the first time since his rookie year he is being asked to be more than a game manager, it's different than prepping for a deep first read once in a blue moon. He has to place the ball out of the pocket now, he can only improve from this point forward
Like our opinions don't matter were fans lmao. Not your fault you can't find ways to enjoy watching bad teams.

0TDs 2INTs is not arguably a problem, it is objectively a problem. Daniel Jones has thrown interceptions in every game this year. That is most definitely a problem. Daniel Jones cannot throw downfield and cannot hit receivers accurately. That is a problem. Daniel Jones cannot find the end zone when we need a big play and his receivers are open. That is a problem. WE NEED A STARTING QB

That’s why the only YAC he gets are on screens and plays like the one Nabers created with that move that left him open down field. This has been Jones problem he just can’t fix. See the open man and lead him so he can maintain his momentum.

@@conwayfitzgerald That's fair I suppose, as I did notice he almost ruined his new star WR's knees with where he led him into that DB diving and hitting Nabers low. Also, I shall defer to some degree as I do not always watch him week in, week out.
That said, I still think he has positives to his game(size, speed) that some never even acknowledge. Additionally, he hasn't exactly always been surrounded by an uber talented supporting cast.
I think a lot of people cannot handle it well when someone else gets paid and especially if it seems like they got overpaid(obviously he did) but that really should not be held against him at all. Seems like some act like he should have negotiated against himself or something crazy.
