You can fuse materia into different materia with 100 stat, but not convert the stat from (example) HP 999% - Spirit 100! -A few stat boosting materia turn status strike into status ward including hp up and vit up, it isn't just Spr up. -I dont have the first 4 missions in the fancy materia section since I'm keeping my file chapter 5 (those get unlocked later in the game). I've already used 28 of my 30 save files for different points in the first 5 chapters. I'll get a file at endgame eventually but these video take forever and my playing/testing suffered for them. - Libra is another materia to convert to with decent compatibility, it also works with DMW materia, and you can fuse DMW materia with status strike/ward, not just punches.

Thanks you so much for the stat transfer section. All the other videos I found were just about farming and maxing, for my first playthrough I wanted an organic approach but not understanding how to be efficient with the fusion stats was stressing me haha.

I need to do more item Gil and so farming so I can have Costly punch Wall Electrocute High jump Try to get attack spirit magic vitality to 255 and go up 999%. Mp is useless when you have the accessory that doesn’t expend any mp or ap forgot the name. Curaga is useless when you have x potions
I still don't understand how I beat the Super Boss in OG CC with only 150+ materia through fusion. I remember dying A LOT. To the point where I memorized the attacks and could dodge through them. I think it took me like an hour to beat.
I feel like minerva was harder in og. Pretty easy in remake. I stopped making vids for remake early, have some endgame stuff half finished that i never got around to making. Incl beating minerva in like 1-3 mins lol...

Same here... No matter where I look... "Early Game Trick: ... Just Do this 7 - 10 Star Mission to ..." I can't even get past Star 5 with Level 19... And some people mention that they defeated the End-Boss with Level 6... I have no idea what to do...
Oof, I'll try to give more attn to sub 7-star gameplay, sorry for the omission. Right now I can say that I tend to work on that portion of my build/stats in the "To end the war with Wutai" mission series (4-1-1 to 4-2-6). The big jump in output is from materia/stats, they're even more important than levels. Along the way it gives you everything you need up till midgame including gravity, darkness from the demons, and hell materia from the secret shop (which lets you melt some more annoying enemies and gives you resistance some some pain in the ass status effects). Really appreciate your comment! :)
@@TomHenryCoursow Sorry to hear it, I clearly omitted earlier stat building in my content so far. My progress tends to be 1) get to chapter 3, 2) tough it through 4-1-1 to 4-2-6 getting better accessories/gravity/darkness along the way and switching to easier missions in another mission arc if I hit a difficulty ramp I cant reasonably beat 3) get wutai secret shop and start using hell magic with status attack and defense, 4) farm demons, get a punch materia and then I'm midgame. Sorry for the omission, I'll try to work on a video with good steps to get to midgame, really appreciate your comment! :)
Most of the mission progression becomes available the moment you get to the reactor in ch4 and receive the Yuffie email when you start walking down the side pathway at the start. At that point, you can alternate the 4 series and 8 series missions and you'll get tons of loot to beef up. The 8 series missions give you summons early and steal. By the time you get steal teh early missions I mention in this video become relevant :)

Bro i subbed, but help me out i'm lost and wanna get on some kinda track, i'm level 37 chapter 5, i have done 30% missions, i had planned to continue with this build im currently using to complete the game on normal for lore experiences. Current build -hell blizzaga mag+3,steal ap 30%,ap++ 150%,high jump atk+9,status ward hp380%, status strike mag +10, accessories wizards bracelet, adaman bangle,black cowl and gold hairpin, i dident even know i couls flee fights till recently haha im 22 hours in, alot different then ff7 or ff7 remake, never played original, i think im missing a easy shop? I cant buy hp ups, but ya if u find 10 min bro and can discord me or write back here some tips or ideas or directions greatly appreciated. Subd,liked commented =).
