The "mint choco" and "sweet potato" part is an insider joke. Taeyong LOVES sweet potatoes and often ate dried sweet potato snacks. Xiaojun LOVES Chocolate Mint ice cream but others don't so he was very defensive about his favorite Ice Cream flavour. (Taeyong also likes mint-choco)
i don't know if you ever checked out their "NCIT HOUSE" but this is kinda like a continuation lmao i love how they kept the storyline from that

Yes.. sweet potato is a thing in Korea... EXCEPT!.. it's not the same sweet potato that we have here in the USA.. they're completely different. They're white (American sweet potatoes are orange) and they're actually super super sweet when you cook them, they produce kinda like a syrup on the inside and it taste like candy. In the USA they're called "asian sweet potato" but they're really hard to find.
Where I’m from, we call it Yama sweet potato🍠 My work place sells these. They are super expensive but so delicious 😋

Actually one thing you should watch is NCT 127’s Brooklyn Boys, or now that there will be a second seasons of NCT Dream’s 7lling in our dreams, called 7llin in our youth.
It’s like the Marvel universe where I swear all the newer NCT content is built by more and more continuation of their inside jokes. With that being said, I hope you can react to NCIT House to get some of the joke (even though that is also built on inside jokes too).

You should check out NCIT HOUSE, it was made during Sticker era, this A Cup of Coffee is like a continuation of that story, and that one is really funny.
Sweet Potato is really popular in desserts in Korea from what I have seen. I would imagine it tastes similar to Taro milk tea Im assuming
they actually taste like honey or maple syrup kind of
Sweet potato is a really popular flavor in like japan and korea, idk about other Asian countries but yeah it’s sooo good. If you have a Tours Les Jours near you I’d recommend their sweet potato cream cake 😪
