Mark Meldrum is the god of Finance. I’m a Dietitian with zero experience in Finance (career change). Passed level 1 solely with mark and EOC questions (90th percentile). Just took level 2 and feel better about that exam than level 1. Zero pages read. He is the goat. Great advice.
Thanks for the tips - very helpful. A couple follow-up questions if you don’t mind: 1) when you say you used the CFAI curriculum, what did you use it for exactly? EOC and BBs? Did you read any of it or rely solely on Mark Meldrum videos for your actual learning? 2) When you mentioned going through the curriculum 3-5 times, does that mean watching Mark’s topic videos 3-5 times, or reading the text, or something else?
@@SilviaManentFinancialAdvisor thank you for clarifying. So when you mentioned your morning schedule, you said you’d watch the MM video the first hour and then do 2 hours of practice. So did you read the text at lunch, or at night before you watched the videos the next day? Sorry for all the questions!
Thank You. I can totally relate to you. I have chosen the same strategy as you. Just relying on MarkMeldrum and CFAI material. Mark Meldrum is just awesome. Just hoping to pass Level 2 this year :)
Omg omg It is a huge pleasure for me to see your new videos Welcome back,Although I did not understand everything you say but frankly you are too too beautiful today🥰👏👏
Just like people that started and passed level 1 with Schweser will swear by them, and those that have Meldrum will do the same, IFT is the same story. They all have particular subjects that they may teach slightly better than the other, but I honestly believe that just choose 1 provider that you like and understand, and stick by them. IFT is just as good as the other 2 providers. Just my opinion
I need some advice from someone who has completed level 2: I would like to write level 2 in August 2021 but I have a CA(SA) board exam in April meaning that I will only be able to dedicate 4.5 months to study for it. Is this a sufficient amount of time? I only had 3 weeks to do level 1 and I managed to pass that but I've heard that level 2 is a lot tougher than level 1. Appreciate any feedback/ advice!
Yes!! You can do it!! I took CFA Level 2 with only 4 months of studying (after passing my CFP). It's definitely doable just make sure to do a lot of practice problems and FOCUS. Make those hours count and keep your phone in a separate room so people don't distract you. Also, make a calendar and which readings you will do! This will help you become accountable!!
I always wanted to do what you have and work at prestigious companies. I was not possible because of all the drama in my life. But what I have noticed with women of your generation: you are superefficient, perfect creatures. But on the way, you develop masculinity and lose your feminity. Calm down!

I used EVERYTHING! End of chapter questions, watching videos and reading the text 3-5 times and doing blue boxes etc

Any possiblity that you can do a vid like this for L3??
Are there any free videos for complete prepn of cfa level 2?
As you told start your preparation early.
Please suggest me how much early?
Is it 6 months before exam or 8 months before exam?
Thank you ☺️
I started to study for level 2 only 4 months before the exam but I would recommend at least 6-8 months!
@@SilviaManentFinancialAdvisor Thank you Silvia
Hello Silvia. How many months before your L2 exam did you begin studying for it?
I did it in 4 months!
Hi Silvia, I saw your Lvl 1 video , and now coming for Lvl 2 ; ) .. Do you believe there is an optimal study order for Level 2 topics? Thanks!!
Hello Ms. Sylvia. How much time did you take for your preparation? and How many hours did you put in per day?
I put in about 3 hours in the morning and then one hour at night!
@@SilviaManentFinancialAdvisor Thank you Ma'am. Just a small follow up question, how long did this routine last?
@@sankalp6872 I did it from April 2018 - June 2018 and then I took the cfa level 2 exam
