I absolutely agree with you Margreth, it's more fun to make things from scratch and I love doing it. However, in saying that, I teach Junk Journaling and today I had a new lady come who had a carer with her. She had been a brilliant artist but I'm pretty sure she has suffered a stroke. She is non verbal and has lots of physical limitations but she can glue. She made a lovely tag out of a masterboard she created (she's never done junk journaling before), but I doubt she could make one of the folders that we all love to construct. However, she would so enjoy decorating the actual pre-made folders so the Tim Holtz ones would be perfect for her.
It was so lovely to see the delight on her face as she busily made the masterboard, traced around the tag shapes I'd made her, and then cut and decorated the tag. It really made my day and the other ladies in the class made her and her carer very welcome. 😊

I haven’t watched his new video yet. Will be interesting to see what the makers do with them, right? Some wonderful papers and digitalis you shared. I will check them out. My fav was the cello tape too! For a picture of the stamp, you can stamp the image on a piece of paper and take of the sticky stamp sie to place the image. To place on a block, you can use a bit of 2 sided tape to help it stick to the block. When you take it off the block, put it on the acetate sheet to keep it for the next use. I keep acetate pages on both sides of these types of stamps. I actually tape the tops of the 2 pages together. Love Lorna and Sam's stamp images.

I love Stamperia paper. It is such good quality. I mostly use the Stamperia papers and ephemera for decoupage on old cigar boxes that I turn into keep sake boxes. I try to pair a journal and a box in the same theme and sell them at craft shows. Thankfully my hubby has several cigar smoking friends and I have them trained as to which boxes are the best.

I do have quite a few real stamps, but I've had them since I was a child when the local postmaster got me started collecting, so I'm reluctant to use them. But these I would use without thinking twice. And I'm totally with you on the booklet/folder thingies. Years ago-before I was doing anything junk journal related, I had purchased 3 stacks of his paper to use as cigar band wrap around my handmade bars of soap. ( I think that was around 2009). Morning Margreth and what a wonderful surprise to see your video my friend ☺️💕 I love how honest you are and yes a lot of pre-made items take the fun away! I am so excited to see you have my stamps - the white paper just needs to be removed for the cling rubber stamps 😘 And thank you so much for sharing the paper pad too ☺️ I cannot wait to see what you create with all your new goodies today! You are going to be very busy my dear ☺️💕 Hugs, Sam xox

I also don't like sentiments Margreth. I can't tolerate paper dolls either because I feel that their images are sad because they are deceased. Silly maybe, but, you know, it's a feeling. 😒 Thanks so much for your honest evaluation of new stuff. I wouldn't know about most of it unless I watch you since I don't go out to shop very often. Your tutorials and style inspire me every week!

Those French seals could make a gorgeous worn wallpaper background on boring scrapbook paper or Kraft paper! Looking forward to ordering an obscene amount of new Tim holtz product. 💚🖤💚

I love watching your whats new releases and getting your honest opinion. I have very limited options here in Melbourne Australia to buy Tim Holtz or even Stamperia products. There are hardly any actual stores i can walk into and really look at items. Everything is online, and Amazon and eBay seem to be the cheapest places to buy TH or Ranger products.

I had just seen Tim Holtz reveal them on Saturday (US time). I literally thought of you and wondered if/when you’d be getting them. You already are showing them although you didn’t order them apparently. Can’t wait to see your take on some of the projects but I must say, the makes shown by Tim were super amazing! I rarely watch those on Saturdays but this one I was addicted to. What creativity shown by Tim’s design team❤
