Thank you so much! this is my first year homeschooling and I am scared! I love reading good books and want my boys to as well. I am so grateful for this list!!!
We have read holes, and restart both were good books that my kids enjoyed. We probably liked holes more because of the relatable characters. I think my oldest appreciated restart but my younger son didn’t identify with the motivations as much. We also have a few of your books on our book list this year as well ( Boy who harnessed the wind, and witch of blackbird pond.)
I was sure my son would pick Holes to start with, but he wants to do The Two Towers first. I’ve never read Holes or Restart, but am eager to read them both.
I don't really have a go-to place. I generally do a google search for the type of book list I'm looking for - in this case something like, "Best Books for 7th graders," and I read through loads and loads of lists.
New sub here. These look like some great choices. Thanks for sharing. I also have a channel mainly about homeschooling and would love to connect here!!

What are your favorite websites for literature picks?
