Nice job.Looks a lot better than the box version. I picked up a couple of these last year when Hobby Lobby had them on clearance but never opened them.Got to open them to bag those tires. Thanks for the review.,
Very nice looking build. I am surprised that you did not have any major problems with the build. I have seen other videos and they had lots of trouble. They hated the kit. If I can find it, plan to get it.
Tip from another model kit builder I watch is if u wanna shine it up even more use floor polish n a brush like a paint brush n it rlly brings the shine n reflection out that’s what I do to my model cars when I build them
Turned out great! I have this kit still sealed that I got last year for $7.49 on HL clearance. I'll open to move the tires, thanks for the heads up! The neighbors had one of these when I was a kid. I can't remember the color... red maybe. I miss riding in those old trucks!
Looks great really like your colour choice. I've got this kit it's been in the stash for a few years now, built a few of the pickups that the kit is based off, nice kit.
Looks great my favorite year of the Chevy truck. Will be picking this up to go with my stepside. Thinking I'll hinge the rear doors seems how most of the cutting is already done.
Very nice job on this kit, your detailing is just beautiful. Thought maybe you might have posted the address to the site you made mention of. Take good care, be well and stay safe.
I don’t know. Lol. I use acrylic paint if I have to paint the whitewalls and several coats. Sometimes it gets lumpy and you have to start over or dilute the paint somewhat.
Look Amazing ! Fabulous job !
Looks good, nice build

I was kind of disappointed they weren’t opening doors too.

Scalemates
i am missing the chassis on my kit,but i had a 4wd 65...can i get a part for it?
Huh?
Question: when l try to paint on white sidewalls, they are never opaque and they never, ever dry. What am l doing wrong?
I don’t know. Lol. I use acrylic paint if I have to paint the whitewalls and several coats. Sometimes it gets lumpy and you have to start over or dilute the paint somewhat.
Dont use enamels.
What website is it?
Scalemates
I'm guessing you are referring to 'Scalemates.com' for the on-line reference? We do try very hard to keep the information accurate. ;-)
Yeah, I forgot to actually say it. Lol
i found the part
Ok
