They need to play Pop A Pill too! That song is really good. There are some really awesome songs that were featured on K3 like Never Around, Pop A Pill, Holding All These Lies, and of course this track, Oildale.
@@mikabass Yeah, Ra's bass is inaudible during certain songs it seems like and he seems to re-write Fieldy's bass lines sometimes. I noticed that with Hey Daddy when they recently played it, the bass riffs he is playing during the verses is being played differently than how it was originally written on the album.
Very cool to see this song make it's way back into the live shows. I wonder who's idea it was to bring this back, cause whoever it was, they deserve a crisp high five.
@@sugarsore Could be, still think it’s under appreciated. They were definitely searching for themselves a bit starting from See You On The Other Side through The Path of Totality. Perhaps Korn III: Remember Who You Are was the point where they learned/discovered they had changed (grown?) and gave up trying to recreate the past. I do think think there are good songs on there but I def appreciated them trying something new on the previous and following albums
@@raulfigueroa588 there are definitely some interesting riffs on this album. The melodies are just so clunky at times. Pop a pill is good... I kind of like the Past too.
certainly very singular they would decide to include a Korn 3 song with Head...i didn't mind it back then when Head returning was still a very remote possibility, but now that they have 4 more albums in Head's second stint i wonder why they don't play more cuts off TPS, TSOS, The Nothing and Requiem
They're just so different. It's a tale of two bands. I still prefer older, groove centric Korn. The newer heavier riff and melody oriented Korn is still good. I think they're best album with Ray is for sure Serenity.
this has been one of my fav korn songs for about a decade, I really hope to hear them play with fieldy. Does anyone know why they dont play any songs from this album?
@@PNWMOTION That is debatable I think. Ra and Ray are more technically talented and both went to school for their instruments, Ra Diaz studied Jazz bass for years in his home country, however I think David and Reginald are a better fit for KoRn and they understand KoRn on a level that obviously Ra and Ray do not.

well they need to turn ra way up in the mix those are bass heavy songs and fieldy really is the central part of those songs

Noted
this is why i like korn, they pull deep cuts outta nowhere
It's been a long time since they've done it tho. Nice to see them doing.
@@sammitchell3657 They finally 86'd Coming Undone. for them too
They rarely change it up, like most bands
I know they won't, but they could really drop Falling Away From Me and Freak on a Leash for a while.
I fucking love this song glad it's in the set
No way they actually performed it with Head and Ra, that’s amazing
One of my favorite songs by them

I'm sooooo glad that they picked up Oildale again!!! So underrated. First time in 12 years, first time with Head! They killed it 🔥💯🔥
Jon and KoRn, sounding better than ever! Thanks for the post!
Munky AND Head, the way it was meant to be played!
Korn III is a banger from start to finish.
Under appreciated for sure!
Best album they did without Head
I think it's their worst album.

Need an album full of those growls
Thanks for posting!! Seeing them at Pine Knob 9/27. I was sick with covid the last time they came through.
I have had the privalege of playing Korn!! Badass Band!!
FINALLY!! love this riff so much
Thanks sooo much for uploading this!! Amazing song
Ty.. I agree thank you for this....

@@sugarsore yeah, quite odd. not something worth unearthing
2:50 damn. Growls sound good.
I was on the fence with this for a long time as an OG fan since the 90's... but I gotta say I like Ray better than David. He owns that spot.

You can tell this song means a lot to JD.
wow!!!
Pop a pill would have been a good one off Korn III
Just need a 26 song Live Album
Korn 3 good album
I never understood the hate for it. It's one of my favorites. In the top 5 albums from them.
I was there!
My son and I were too. This was mine and my sons first korn concert.
@@brandonboughton5512 my second the first was in Tampa in 2021
Korn III is an underrated album, Oildale works great live
Remember who you are is so underrated
With Head sounds better than studio version i think
Saw them in London a few weeks ago. Why didn’t they play this, Right now and Dead Bodies everywhere!!
I hope Fieldy comes back
We all do.. Rock on
He's out of the band. He can't get a hold of his addiction.
Bring back Silveria
I'd rather just have fieldy back.
No ray is better
