Let me simplify the perception of time for you Josh: Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end, the faster it goes! Write that down - Jim out.
You crack me up. It's funny because it's true. I bailed out at 55 and can't believe the amount of stress that was lifted. I enjoyed my work, but the corporate crap and peoples' horrible work ethics became too much. I'll be taking SS at 62 and saving/stacking/investing much of it.
Retired at 47, currently 56. I do not regret retiring early. Looking forward to the little bump from social security in 6 years...if it's still there. Don't listen to the people that tell you to work until you die. People who suffer financial catastrophes tend to think that way.
it'll be there, SS is doing heavy lifting in destabilizing the multi-generational family structure, atomizing society. newcomers come with family structures, yet to be destroyed. the moor has not yet done its duty, the moor cannot yet go.
Pilots, flight attendants, and passengers are exposed to 20 times the background radiation at cruising altitude than the level that exists on the ground. I packed a Geiger counter in my carry-on bag during a flight once. The background radiation was 20 counts per minute on the ground and 400 counts per minute at cruising altitude.
Wow. Interesting. Thanks for that information because I was wondering if it was the stress or some other reason why pilots had such drastically lower life expectancy. Logically, it would appear that flight attendants would have the same issue.
radiation induces heart attacks and strokes? Not only Mechanics, now Radiation Biophysics too? Maybe Mr. Scandlen should rename his channel "Physics with Josh"
Agree 100% Know your budget-how much do you want/need to be comfortable. Why are you working? If work is the best thing you can do - makes you the most fulfilled - why change? But as soon as it feels like a paycheck, find something else. Life is too short. And if you got enough to retire, retire! It is easier to find fulfillment when you are not working for someone else.
I finally signed up Josh for January 2025, still working. I will be 66 and 3 months. Full retirement age June 2025. I will just put the money in the bank as I do not need it. But the way I see it get as much as I can while I can
@8:30 it says nothing of the sort. it posits that you cannot disentangle the temporal and the spatial aspects of physical existence. the object stays the SAME, but in Space-Time, not in Space alone. but go ahead, keep boosting your homeboi, blasphemer Galileo. Violon d'Ingres, ma foi!
Hi Josh, I know this is nothing to do with this video but I was wondering if you could do a video on How Much Does Military Service Add To Social Security? I was on active duty from 89-98 and as I understand it this will add to my Social Security pay out. Supposedly get $100 per every $300 made during my timeframe of service which to me would be an extra $1200 a month. Could you do a video and verify the specifics on this benefit?
!I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market..
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $200k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally.. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??
