- Steelers linebacker and third-round NFL draft pick Payton Wilson speaks with the Post-Gazette's Christopher Carter at OTAs this week on the South Side. Among the topics: How quickly is he learning the defense under ILB coach Aaron Murray and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin? This ILB core gonna be strength this year 😤💪🏽
I’m more excited about this dude here than any other new addition to the team. Praying the injury bug stays far away from our LB room this season
Very excited to have this exceptional young man on the team.
Honestly he's been my highest point of conversation from the rookie class can't wait to see what he can do still stoked and hope the best for the o line
This dude has a presence. I really hope he balls out
Let's do it Payton #41. Your representing our small hometown of Hillsborough, N.C. well!
This guy is gonna be a force
He seems like such a good dude, and his motor is insane.
I sincerely hope he does well! This kid’s a monster for real!
Can't wait to see this young man on the field. Let's go Payton!
Experienced hardworking and hungry enough Said!!!! Cheering fir thus young man
Absolute stud. The LB that Steeler nation has been waiting for!! AFC Rookie of the Year

#HereWeGoSTEELERS
Looks like a true Steeler unlimited potential if he can stay healthy
If he stays healthy he will be a multiple year pro bowl player. You can’t coach his speed and his will power. It will all come down to how healthy he is. He’s a stud!!!
The “Wild Wilson” era is about to begin.
Aaron Curry is clearly well respected in this org. I can see him in a DC role soon somewhere…maybe here.
Man he queen and Roberts and cole come back mid year look out
Hoping he plays exactly how he played against my Canes, chasing plays from sideline to sideline even on coverage plays he’s a problem.
Stud
Not that it matters one way or the other, but he looks like he could be part blaq through a grandparent, great-grandparent, or great-great grandparent.
Please, nobody call him Jack Lambert, let him do him, if he is half of Jack we are blessed.
Shampoo endorsement, incoming !!
This dude is gonna be awesome. I think he's gonna be special, game wrecker!
This guy Wilson... He looks like a baseball player. And, he may have been the best LB who was drafted? Luv that guy! ...and Warren, and Pickens and...T.J...and...Cam...and..
