Thank you so much for Ailee week, I had a great time hearing your thoughts as you discovered Ailee and her music throughout the week. A few answers to questions from your video and potentially some interesting facts:
-On the I Heart Radio interview Ailee referred to the show she went on before her debut "Singer and Trainee" was the performance you watched for Halo. It's crazy to think that was when she was a trainee and already killing it, she did end up winning that competition against the other trainees.
- Shortly after Ailee did the I Heart Radio interview where she talked about her regrets of not spending more time with her parents her mother and father passed away all within the same year. The song she was referring to is called "When we were in love", after losing both parents she would cry every time she sang this song so she stopped singing it live. The song has an 11 min MV like a mini k-drama. The situation regarding her parents was quite traumatic and I feel like she's much more emotional now when she sings ballads as the pain is more personal.
- The variety show Ailee, Amber and Eric were on together was "One Fine Day" there are some subbed full episodes on YT.
- Ailee has also appear on After School Club which Eric was one of the host a few times for more English interviews some of them are on YT.
- Eric and Ailee also have done a duet together at KCON '16 which them mentioned they remembered here as cringe, but really their stage was cute.
- She's done so many immortal songs performances that KBS actually put out a 3.5 hr compilation on YT of almost all her performances. If you're ever bored it's an entertaining watch to see how good she was even at the beginning and progressed til now. Some key performance like her very first immortal song performance was missed in it though, but you can find that on YT. She was a regular in the first season when she just debuted as a rookie so many of the performances are when she was very new and no one new her.
- She's won immortal songs 11 times which is a lot considering there were a few years she wasn't actively performing
- Hyolyn and Ailee acted together to form a fictional girl group called Hershe in a teen drama called Dream High 2 when Ailee was just starting out. Warning acting was pretty cringy, but they became friends from that show which is why they've had a number of collab stages through the years and have even gone on Immortal songs to compete against one another.
- Ailee, Solar, Eunji of Apink and Luna F(x) aka ELSA had two special live stage performances for SBS, they sounded great and you can even search YT for their behind the scenes where they goof off together before the show.
- After this Dive Studio interview Ailee met BoA again and this time we have a clip of her fangirling over BoA on a show called K-909. Bonus: Solar was on K-909 fangirling over BoA too they were both very shy and Ailee was not kidding when she said she was awkward when she's nervous 😂
- Wheein did a cover of U&I on a show before you can find a clip on YT and mentioned that she had sang Heaven as her trainee practice song. Same with Wendy who was told to sing Heaven and I will show you by her vocal coach as a trainee. Come to think of it a lot of idols have used Ailee's songs for vocal training or as an audition song.
- Ailee's been on Running Man twice one of which she was forced as part of the games to sing karaoke on a roller coaster. This is a must watch just for laughs as she did so well yet so poorly at the same time, you can witness her whistle notes
- Ailee has a rolling in the deep cover where she sings it with a korean accent on a comedy show this is also on YT

26:14 For the record, I LOVE the A New Empire album. 'Why You Think I'm In Love With You' is my favourite Ailee Bside. The fact that it didn't do so well baffles me
