This song makes me want to be a kid again. To catch fireflies in a mason jar just to let them go again. To swing on a tire swing and see how high you can get. To lay in the grass until the night has crept up and taken over your world. To point at the clouds and the stars with grass sticking up between your toes. And to laugh because laughing made you happy. And that's all that mattered. This song really is so special.

I remember the first time I stumbled upon this song, It was 3 in the morning back in my senior year at college. I was going through shit. I remember listening to it on loop and crying like a baby and getting more and more depressed. But after a while-- while listening to this very song, I grew out of depression. The amount of strength it gave me, firstly to open up to what I was feeling and then getting over it. I hope it can make you all feel happiness and make you strong. And remember you are loved.

my favourite part was that one last hospital scene, where jaeyeol put kangwoo's new shoes on for him. the drama as a whole, before said scene, wasn't anywhere near special to me, but that scene was just. it all hit me at once. and listening to this song again brought the feelings back.

It feels like it's about the first of the real struggles of no longer being cared for, but being the caretaker. This song feels to me like it's about the 25 year old boy that we all see as a man, but really sees more joy in play than in the money and expectations. It feels quite heartbreaking to me. And it makes me feel like I didn't get enough out of my childhood.

But to add on, maybe this song has to do with relationships and childhood (how in some ways you never really "grow up"), and that people should just be themselves instead of keeping up a look. Also, refering to recent times like the great recession in the references to money and the american dream. Either way, this song never gets dull.

Children take for granted how short of a time they have to be a child. They're wasting their childhood with Xbox's, god damnit. Where's sneaking a cig from your parents, and rebelling against society, playing with your pets, swimming with your friends, fighting with your siblings, it's all changing now. Kids play flappy bird on iPads, and Xbox for 12 hours straight, WHY! WHY WHY WHY! Where is the late night walks, the sleepovers with your friends. All gone. Not yet, there is a glimmer of light still... parents hold the lifeline to what childhood their kid has...

In high school I studied abroad and I lived in Banff, Canada for the first half year before entering the school. I used to listen to this song a lot there not knowing the adventures I’d have in the coming years. Now that i’m back in Japan, listening to this brings back all the memories and sensations.
