Sam, as an auto tech myself, I would send the head to the machine shop and have the valve guides checked as well, if they are leaking that bad it could also be worn guides as well, something you cannot do in your shop without special equipment. especially if you want to runit at high hp levels for any length of time. keep up the great vids
Would love to see more vlogs on fixing the loader truck. Nothing wrong with fixing it up and keeping it as a rental or second loader truck for SAMMIT HQ. It'll also give a vehicle for Daiki to use to take his car to his events for D1 Light. I am amazed the engine for the 33.4 is in the shape it's in with the abuse that it's been through. Also an update on you getting your license for the double loader truck would be cool.
Rubber mellot is the best way to remove parts that have stuck on, especially if U don't want to dent scratch or crack the part that's stuck or glued on.
LMAOOOOO May with the "Swap it to a 2JZ" then the giggle from the head check to the poor RB asking "Yamete Kudasai" with the finger check has made this the absolute most entertaining vid yet.... Thanks Sammit you guys made my Saturday.... With everything you've learned in your journey up until now I can't wait to see the rebuild/revival of the 33.4. I can't wait. My best to you guys, May and Yugo as well.
It'll probably be more than just the valve stem seals. The guides will be worn too. I'm an engine reconditioner and every rb I've worked on has had worn exhaust valve guides
Absolutely love your videos sam, i’ve been a fan for years now. There is nothing like coming home from work and watching a sammit video, it’s almost like i’m living my dream through your videos
I'm so glad we're getting some proper build videos. I've been waiting for the 33.4 build for so long so this is awesome. Next build video hopefully will be either a full Daiki build or just some maintenance and modifications. Or the final bogan 32 done and on track. Keep up the awesome content.
@@mht525 No yea i know. Its just from previous times hes been seen eating food i just assumed "if he likes that he probably likes fish" kinda scenario.. but yeh it was myb
Finally some RB content. She looks sweet butI recommend checking the bottom end if you're not doing a full rebuild. I'm also secretly hoping for a r33 front end too. You can always keep the 33.4 Fender, bumper etc in storage as they're part of the cars history. My dream is a campion blue r33 with white lmgt4 wheels or maybe the 400r 3 piece wheels.
Any kind of content is good for the channel. I enjoy the car builds, the drifting, the day with the family and employees. Also, have you ever had Gamer Supps carbonated? I added some to my soda stream maker and it was fantastic. Keep up the excellent work all
As far as RB/CA self destruction goes this one is pretty much almost ready to go back together. Little bit of refurb, little bit of cleaning, a few oem+ parts and it runs again.
yep yep truck content is different and interesting as it's one of those special drift trucks that the Japanese all love... keen to see some resto on her! Also yeah you wanna probably wanna remove the valves and check the guides and valve seats/valve angle etc too. Seems like it's a lot better than expected hehe...I bet ya kicking yaself that you didn't have a crack earlier hehe... man the amount of times i've done something similar and head nicked myself thinking the worse lol :(
Man. Respect the hustle in saving every dollar. But replace the springs and claim it as a business expense. They’ll likely be much cheaper than you think.
Beyond excited to see the R33.4 revived. I have been watching you working on the R33.4 since you were turning wrenches in your driveway. Yamete Kudasai, which translates to ( Stop it ) , took me a while to freeze the frame to read this. Gave me a good laugh, the head of the RB did not like you finger testing its exhaust port runners.😎
Sam do the torque settings by ARP included torque values my friend,as have their catalogues at home, as rebuilt my rangerover classic V8 3.5 with ARP 👍
I sure hope you sandblasted that bed instead of cutting it out. That should be 1/8 or 1/4 -inch steel they are extremely easy to sandblast and even easier to weld.
Great to see the R33.4 geting some love. So nostalgic, the drive way years. Oh May below the belt 🤣 With ya, Daiki 👊 fish tastes yuk. Great to see Yugo and May. 👊🇦🇺
This is quite a out of pocket request, but if you're going to need a new engine and going through a thorough restoration. May you please put in a Tomei crate RB in it. That would be a proper move for the O.G workhorse.
Hey Sammit, how you doing dude? By the way, awesome video =D Next month i will be there in Japan, i have here in Brazil a basic Honda Civic with a d16 engine, i was wondering if it would be easy to find parts for this engine, i will need some Arp Head studs, new head gasket and a cylinder gard, where could i find these parts on Japan, i will be located next to Tokyo international airport, can you give some directions to where find these parts? Thanks a lot for the great content that you make.
What chemicals are you using to clean your motor? Inhad an oil tech at anlocal shop overflow the oil, and now my motor is coated. It needs a good bath, but I don't want to damage anything.
It’s so easy to forget that Daiki is an employee. You seem like the best employer Sam.
Fr dude I wouldn’t even call this working just having a good time
@@shmitt8307 they totally act like they’re just hanging out, at least on camera, looks like a great job.
I am so stoked to see the 33.4 come back to life! Let's go boys!
And girls

Me too me too
finally.. some OG Content
Bro head time😂 and then May laughing, absolutely love it!🤣
This car brings back the memories for me too. You've grown so much since then. Great to see it back!
Rubber mellot is the best way to remove parts that have stuck on, especially if U don't want to dent scratch or crack the part that's stuck or glued on.
Running them gloves to the absolute limit!

My best to you guys, May and Yugo as well.
You’re doing a great job by exposing Yugo to the sounds of a shop early!! Super smart!Keep it up!
I LOVE Mei's sense of humor!
It'll probably be more than just the valve stem seals. The guides will be worn too. I'm an engine reconditioner and every rb I've worked on has had worn exhaust valve guides
Love that the OG 33.4 is getting love!
Awesome video as always Sammit. Can't wait to see the 33.4 back on the streets of Tokyo and for more RB content.
(Do not 'clean' the alternator with what you do to the rest of the engine. Do it separately if you want the alternator to be either clean or work.)
Absolutely love your videos sam, i’ve been a fan for years now. There is nothing like coming home from work and watching a sammit video, it’s almost like i’m living my dream through your videos
I stop the Le Man for nothing and no one!…. Except a Sammit vid drop!
This video is a trip down memory lane

Yes to the truck maintenance!!!!!!!
Really loving the 33.4 Revival process series been waiting for ages 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Loving the B roll music. Making some nice progress on the R33.4, keep it up!
Such a good dad man love to see it
Gotta love that split second "Yamete Kudasai" he threw in there! Haha Poor engine!
THATS CRAAAAAZYY THAT DAIKI DOESNT LIKE SEAFOOD!! I would've never thought but it's cool to know
Not everyone eats fish.
@@mht525 No yea i know. Its just from previous times hes been seen eating food i just assumed "if he likes that he probably likes fish" kinda scenario.. but yeh it was myb
Bro sam hands down is the best youtuber
I want to see that truck running a Sammit wave livery :)
Skyline rebuild interesting as hell knowing what you did with it in the past

My passion for cars allways comes back when i watch your videos thanks
I’m so stocked the 33.4 is getting some love looked like she needed it can’t wait to see her shred the streets and the track 🔥🔥
I would love to see an RB26 in it, would be so sick
Daiki is cool af. I hope the homie sticks around for a long time.
send the head and block over to tomei or jun and they will take care of it. fully rebuildable
More 33.4?!?! Lessgo, Sam!!!🔥🔥🔥
ahh i always get so happy when you post love the content man!
Love these kind of videos and this channel in general, keep it up Sammit.
Any kind of content is good for the channel. I enjoy the car builds, the drifting, the day with the family and employees. Also, have you ever had Gamer Supps carbonated? I added some to my soda stream maker and it was fantastic. Keep up the excellent work all

Daiki is getting better and better at filming some nice shots
Time for a full build of the RB25. Get AdamLZ to send you a PlazmaMan intake manifold, go full billet internals, cams, etc
I lol'd at the 15:53 you snuck in.
Man. Respect the hustle in saving every dollar. But replace the springs and claim it as a business expense. They’ll likely be much cheaper than you think.
The Rb needs some PRP goodness, they have a whole catalogue for the RB
15:53 “YAMETE KUDASAI” 🤦🏻♀️😹😹😹
Beyond excited to see the R33.4 revived. I have been watching you working on the R33.4 since you were turning wrenches in your driveway. Can't wait for the 33.4 to be drive and ripping on the street Sam
Nice finally more building car content keep it up!
I accidentally skipped over the video and questioned why it was so short. That might explain it, Excited to see the 33.4 transformation
Scene the Blue 💙 S-15 in the background while you and May were talking about the centipede
i am 100% down for the flat bed mods. lets get a build series for the flat bed xD
I feel like fresh piston rings and a quick flex hone would be a good call. Maybe some OE bearings too.
I seen that at 15:53 "Yamete Kudasai" 😂😂😂
Yes truck maintenance content its all great!😊
Just a thought……dirty oil is generally a sign of rings……maybe consider those while it’s out, drop in some bearings while you’re at it.
That poor LTT screwdriver out in the deep end. Really putting it to the test.
Yes, more truck content please!
Yamete kudasai. 😂😂😂😂😂 Wifey laughing about head. The slow motion pan to your crazy ass face in the valley. This video was hilarious.
I wouldn't mind seeing the work trucks get worked on too!
Im a new viewer but this is already my fav car channel for sure👌🏻
Sam do the torque settings by ARP included torque values my friend,as have their catalogues at home, as rebuilt my rangerover classic V8 3.5 with ARP 👍

Im excited for this car man
Love the vids man keep it going 🙏🏾
Any content I will watch! Truck, Car, Bike, whatever! Keep going Sammit I'm proud of you! 💖
Def would like to see truck maintenance
Yea same here w the seafood. Surprised to see someone from Japan that doesn’t like it tho seems like a lot of their food is seafood based
Honestly I would enjoy watching you make the truck better (paint, light, horns) think you should just go wild with it. 👍🏽
Great to see the R33.4 geting some love. So nostalgic, the drive way years. Oh May below the belt 🤣 With ya, Daiki 👊 fish tastes yuk. Great to see Yugo and May. 👊🇦🇺
You need to put the engine in a glass case for show in the shop it will be so cool your history in the engine ❤❤❤
22:26 hope u thoroughly cleaned everything & lubed all the pistons & cylinder walls before doing that, looks sketchy
This is quite a out of pocket request, but if you're going to need a new engine and going through a thorough restoration. May you please put in a Tomei crate RB in it. That would be a proper move for the O.G workhorse.
thats expensive
"Yamete Kudasai" :D
Daiki the jawline God
hey same instead of another rb or a 2j maybe you should do the mighty barra swap
Probably not many Barra's or aftermarket support in Japan though
Great videos lately 💪💪💪💯💪💯
10:45 oh no not the drift phonk cleaning edit🤣
Customize the truck, wheels and pink paint 😊
Yes we would like more truck content
It must suck for Daiki living in such a seafood-heavy country
I’ve been waiting to see this fr long time
Finally some RB content
Hey Sammit, how you doing dude? By the way, awesome video =D

Thanks a lot for the great content that you make.
Truck content needed put a body kit on it paint and it in pink .. let's go!!!!
Mays english is good and she is funny about 2JZ
Laying the head flat
On the open valves !!
Crazy that a Japanese native doesn’t eat seafood. That’s wild to me.
Can't wait to see the RB rebuilt and ready to rip after the break-in period
ayyy she lived in neuvo leon?? Awsome, my is from there :)
You gotta get my man Daiki hip to some quality seafood!
The rb swap to a 2jz joke was hilarious. I was like no no no no, don't but a 2j in it or i'll unsub right now lmao
What chemicals are you using to clean your motor? Inhad an oil tech at anlocal shop overflow the oil, and now my motor is coated. It needs a good bath, but I don't want to damage anything.
When gamersups flavor !!!!!
Maybe transmission fluid flavor
Ayyyy. Watching from new mexico!
I think if you do decide to get a new engine you should get a rb26 I feel like the 33.4 deserves it
Don't feel alone daiki, i don't eat seafood for the same reason.
You should try put a RB26 in it
