WHICH SOFTWARE YOU USED TO MEASURE THE FREQUENCY OF SOUND PRODUCED???

Wanted to ask the Dr. Nard Dog if there is a specific standard he is referencing for this test/demo.

How much range of Transmission loss (dB) is considered average, moderate and high transmission loss? Please provide some tentative range. Is 15-20 dB Transmission loss average or below average?

    Hello
    Thank you for the presentation.
Why is the reflected wave is not considered in the STL measurement?
The incident power is calculated from the blocked pressure which if: incident + reflected.
    Thank you

because we are measuring transmission loss. which means how much sound got transmitted after going through medium.

One question. Let's say you have such a box and there is an engine that makes 32DB sound inside. Whatever the brown colored 1-2cm thick insulating material is, the best sound insulation is provided? If you were, WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE that brown material to best insulate the sound? --cork mattress? --fiberglass? ...........

When calculating the surface mass density if the barrier has 3d features on it do they need to be considered or is the only important part to consider just the 2 dimensional projection of the material?

I have the exact same question, I am working on estimating the transmission loss using different materials but the container I manufactured is a small 3d rectangle
