How-To Tie the Bauer Crab

The Bauer Crab pattern is a popular fly for permit in destinations like Belize and Mexico.
To tie this pattern, you will need:
SS71 or SS15 Hook size 2
Thread
McFly Foam (Tan, Olive, or White will do)
Rubber Legs (plain)
Stalk Eyes
Lead Eyes (size depending on your desired sink rate)
Bodkin or comb
Super Glue

These legs were the round rubber legs from Rainy's. We have them in stock if you need any, give us a call! 305-292-6306 You can use any kind of rubber legs you prefer though.
