What the video does not show is, witnesses stated the woman ran toward the car and tried to push the child out of the way, but the car was going way too fast. Also the woman who ran is the mother and she went for help.
Download the video and watch it frame by frame and you will se a woman looking straight at her phone and actually brushing the boy aside out of rudeness no even realizing the car was there. She had the phone in her hand looking at it and it went flying onto the car when the car hit the wall. I guess it is easier to make someone a hero than to see it for what it really was. Before criticizing me, watch it in a frame by frame slow motion and it very clear what happened and not open to interpretation. All the same, I am very happy that they survived and I hope will fully recover.
