Bro ur model is not rev 2.0
hello, Rev 1's VESA mount are locked in by screws. Rev 2 has a clip which you can see at 1:44. Rev 1 box also says 170hz while Rev 2 says 165hz.
@@JosellClark like you said rev 2.0 only has 165hz refresh rate.. but in the video.. your monitor goes 170hz refresh rate.. then how come yours rev 2.0?
@@mohamedbhasith90 that's what it says on the box for some reason. And it's advertised as 165-170 hz. Even at the manufacturer's website. You can watch a comparison video to further understand.

How much clarity does this monitor give over something like a 24 inch 1080p monitor? Do you think this monitor is good for mostly reading texts?
hmmm not much haha this is mostly for gaming. 24 to 27 is not a big jump. But for me, a laptop screen to a monitor is lol

Do you have a link of your HDMI cable? I recently bought a 27" 1440p 165Hz monitor, and bought a cheap HDMI cable in the same store with it. However, I'm having issues because at 1440p resolution the only refresh rate option available is 60Hz. I tried changing the resolution to 1080p, and it gave me the option of 120 Hz, but that's just it. Both my monitor and laptop has HDMI 2.0 port, so I'm not really sure what's the problem, I suspect the cable.
hey man the cable came with the monitor when I bought it. The cable is definitely the problem in your case. Buy one that supports the framerate you need and don't forget to update your firmwares since that can cause some issues too

For info: Your laptop supports Displayport and thus also 1440p 170hz. Displayport is supported via the USB Type C port.

bro I would suggest just turning off the depth of field and montion blur. I think most people get headaches from those 🤣

Bro how can you get the KVM working?
I plugged my keyboard to usb slot and used type c to connect monitor to an independent hub (ugreen) via type c 5GBPS slot which is then connected to my laptop.
Keyboard worked but the video has no output
either try out a different USB Hub bro or a different type-c cable. Some type c cables doesn't work on monitors or transfer data
Actually you can enable Nvidia Gsync in Nvidia Control Panel.

hey man, I'm on standard setting. Brightness 75, Contrast 50, Sharpness 5, Gamma 2.4, and a normal color temp. Hope that helps
