Raising a Redneck Blind | One Man Install

  • One man install of our New Redneck Predator Blind. While quarantining at the farm with Covid, I got antsy and decided to make some progress on the new Redneck Blind. While not easy, with patience, a well thought out plan, and some trial and error, I was able to get the blind up solo. My farm partner Randy and I had put the blind onto the base frame the week prior which was much more doable with two people. Georgia deer season is just 4 weeks away and we are scrambling to get all of our summer chores completed to be ready for the season. This Redneck Blind sits on the edge of an 11 acre Chestnut Orchard which should drop their nits during bow season. I’ll be planting a fall plot in front of the Redneck Blind and we also have planted corn between the Chestnut tree rows. These blinds are quiet, comfortable and simply cool as heck. I can’t wait to sit in the blind during the rut this fall in Central Georgia.
The hunting will no doubt be great sitting in this Redneck blind over the Chestnut Orchard while enjoying God's creation through sunrises and sunsets. Simply beautiful out there. This property has tremendous potential and we have been getting after quite a few projects. So very blessed to be able to enjoy God's creation with a desire to be good stewards of this land.

My favorite hunting partner, my dad, enjoyed getting out to camp and enjoying some hard work, good laughs, family time, and occasionally getting a deer. When dad was no longer able to get in the woods with me, I started sharing brief videos with him. Now that dad has gone home to Heaven, I still enjoy taking the videos, but share them with RUclips and each of you. A lot of the time when speaking into the camera, I'm thinking of talking to dad! I hope you enjoy them!

Now that you have Covid behind you, it's a good thing because you are clear to hunt the entire season. Every bad thing is ok if it doesn't happen in or affect November.

Haha no doubt @Underdog Outdoors. I need a clear calendar for the rut for sure. Hope your deer prep is all going well! Thanks for watching.

Hey Tom. Thanks for checking in. Yes, it’s the 10 footer with the platform or stoop. Great stand. Good luck this season.
