- An Auto Display Card was introduced and inaugurated by Commissioner of Police in order to manage and regulate the traffic and it is mandatory for every auto driver to make the card but due to some reasons many of the auto drivers are not able to make the display card and starting from March 4 the checking has been started by the traffic police and will continue at different junction on daily basis. In order to know the reason, NLTV interacted with the auto drivers, they shared that some of them don't have valid documents for renewal.

😢😢 hardly they earn 600 700 daily n rich people always disturb taxi n auto why never check private vehicle documents they don't have to renew their documents naki.
According to me, this display card won't make a difference and my question is For making a display card do they really need all those insurance or what so ever and also What's the use of a display card when there is a number plate, Driving license not forgetting their union I.D card and their uniforms.... To me this is a matter of LOOTING THE POOR.... Another Day light Roberry. Display card & serial number I wonder what comes next after this I'm 💯% very sure someone will come up with another way to loot them.... Maybe even a Digital Display Card who knows or parking wise I.D, Uniforms, lincense. I always asked them what do they lose on an expired insurance because I don't think they lose anything if my car met an accident.
First proper implementation of ILP should be done if we want to minimize all illegal task as these are happening due to influx of immigrants of non-locoals so that our Naga youths can earn for our surival and if we don't know how to utilize the powers conferd by the constitution better left out. Secondly, fixed the price properly as many auto drivers are asking too much in this way we can run our daily live smoothly without much burdern.
Bottom line -Naga youths are lazy
While going to railway station in Dimapur I hardly see Naga people n the rest are non local...#peace#positivity...

I heard that some taxi/ regional taxi owners complain that traffic always checking vehicle documents and they can't even renew their document...they say the profit they earn from the taxi were cut down on challan...thats the reason they can't renew their document
Vehicle registration is online and the rate is same all over India. So it'll be a difficult task for the DTO. Extremely feel sorry for the self-employed Naga auto drivers😢.

If they want to strictly implement this system they should do away all the non local drivers and give chances to our local.
In my point of view, seizing auto will mostly effect on the public itself. Since most of the people don't own vehicles so they mostly depends on auto to go and come and they are the mode of transportation for majority for the people.

I think vehicles insurance is not much necessary, its like an extortion from the company. Because, even if a vehicles are in bad condition we can we can still obtain insurance just not to pay fine and the insurance amount are high. It does not have anything to do with road incident and the company does not give us any benefits during repair of our vehicles. Insurance should not be mandatory.

Its your own Duty to check the validity of the Car (Registration and insurance etc )before purchasing any car so dont make excuses here after purchasing failed registration and failed insurance Auto purposely knowing the consequences, I know most of the auto drivers are running away from traffic police for the past 2 to 3 years because of not having proper documents but how far can they ran , Rules are rules and have to be followed.
If this things are not stopped now than this trend will continue and Dimapur will become Dumping ground of Biharis second hand auto.

How the fck do you think it's an excuse? Are you fckng crazy? We are not rich like you dummy . 40 to 50k is like lakhs to us. It's our only chance to earn and support our family. We the nagas are struggling to get job even if we complete our graduation because of back doors. ( Traffic police should check even two wheeler, private vehicles, imported vehicles from other state and goverment vehicles too)

Jokes apart.. I hope the concerned authorities look into the matter from different angles before a blanket order. Auto drivers should also cooperate to the order as it's for the public interest and the authority should also forgiving the accumulated late fine, educate them and hereon, everyone adheres to the rules.

Hello brothers / Auto drivers if you know very well that the auto documents is not up to date then why did you bought it? Its a passengers vehicle so you must buy only if the documents is up to date. Its your fault, not the previous owner fault.

All the commercial drivers should have proper documentation of their vehicles be it RC, Licence, PUC, fitness, insurance ,permits etc.
Earn thru proper channels by following transport rules.
Also transport dept should take their own share of responsibility to make things run in efficient manner.
No wonder how the commercial vehicles are plying the roads for 5/6 years without proper documentation.
This only shows how ineffective the transport department is. 🤷

Ofurse rules is rules but we the people must also think about the poor and needy people, reflect back to your family and think about auto driver's they also have family like you, and they can't effort proper food, clothes shelter , education to their children,etc. Because they are jobless.so government should make out the solution for all the auto driver's.Atlist for the children education.

Most of the Nagas owned old autos bought with rs 40k to 50k in order to fed their family we are not in a developed countries like us, u.a.e where we use vehicles for some years and scrapped it of course we are a developing nations but it is the rich who is becoming richer and poor becoming poorer due to corruption.
