Thats actually a WLE unit that was never repainted when they bought it. The current management staff at WLE is former D&RGW personal, executives, and management staff. They brought the speed lettering scheme with them along with purchasing some ex D&RGW locomotives from the UP. How they are able to keep the scheme, i'm not sure exactly what their agreement is between the UP and WLE.
Actually there was alot less people out for this then i thought there would be, I just wish I had gotten my ass out the door sooner so I could catch it doing main line speed, but oh well.
Looks like all of Chicago was out for this one.
GREAT CATCH!!
And I was having fun in Clearing Yard in Chicago. :-)
