    Also Graham Cracker Crunch worked really well in my open layout as well... have 1 warmer in my living room, 1 in my kitchen, a Mini Warmer in the bathroom, and 1 in my bedroom. Also Dancing Sugar Plums seems 2 be very good in my open layout as well.

    Great lineup Robyn. You’ve opened my eyes to a couple tree scents I haven’t tried yet. I agree that the woods and spicy categories do well in OC. I have 4 warmers in my OC and keep them in areas where I encounter their enjoyment. It’s so fun finding those bars that boom!

    I was almost surprised about Fall-ing Apples. When I put that in my tiny bathroom with one cube in my mini warmer, I could barely smell it, even when I put my nose right over it. Often when I put scents into that room/warmer, I can smell them through the laundry room, past the basement door and into my kitchen - which is around 2 corners. I’ll have to try it again!
    I definitely agree on Toasted Acorn. That’s one of my favorites.
    I always found Cider Mill to be a boomer scent, although I prefer lighter scents so maybe it just booms to me.

    Robyn, another stellar video!! That is a great idea spritzing a spray, I forget to do that 🥰 Cedar Cider and Bright Cider Life, my favorite fall go tos! I mixed Cedar Cider with Toasted Acorn and Oak and it was really nice. Our home is a Frankenstein of add ons, so I do get away with warmers in each room holding scent from the other rooms, but they do roll into one another. I have not warmed Cranberry Crumble yet, excited to try it! I love Around the Campfire, and stocked up on a lot of bars, so I’m excited hearing your positive thoughts! I just started warming fall and now, you have me excited about Christmas scents 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve never grown Heliotrope, next year 🥰 The pickle bar, lol! I bought Autumn road trip counter spray and dish soap a flash sale ago. Salted caramel, num!! Thank you Robyn!!

    Around the Campfire is great to warm outside at night all year round.
    Fall/Winter are my favorite scents. But my nose can go blind very quickly, almost to the point of not liking a scent anymore. What has worked for me to keep things from smelling off, is melting something that clears my nasal palate, like a vanilla or citrus.

    • @RobynH

      Great idea! It’s true that we go nose blind to scents sometimes - switching it up to something totally different can help! 🍋

    Sips of cider & cider mill are great in open layouts with vaulted (high cielings). I have 4 warmers and a mini. One of the things I noticed in my open lay out is that if I put the warmers on timers with 4 hrs difference between the time they come on I get a full day of scent especially on those lighter fragrances. I agree with you r suggestions. French toast was a good 1 in my home too, but its no longer available. It was so strong it filled my while house with just those 4 warmers going. I didnt need to use any in my bedrooms. Cider mill in bars and pods lasted 4 to 5 days before needing to switch.

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts..
    I agree, multiple warmers is key.
    I have 1 in entry way.
    3 in living-room.
    2 in kitchen.
    1 in dining room.
    2 in each bedroom.
    3 in family room and 1 in each bathroom.
    Have a fabulous long weekend..💛

    • @RobynH

      That’s plenty of warmers you’ve got going!
      Yes, for STRONG scent in most spaces a person really does need multiple warmers.
      I get away with 1 in the bedrooms but the open area definitely needs several!

    Hi, I’m a little late, lol, but Graham Cracker Crunch and Maple Apple Bourbon are powerhouses in my open layout/ vaulted ceilings home. It’s hard to find scents that room fill for me, and these two are the best! With Graham Cracker Crunch in particular, I noticed that I could still smell it even after day six of warming. 😱

      WOW, I wish Graham Cracker Crunch lasted that long in my house - that one is absolutely delicious!

    Great video Robyn! You're an excellent home fragrance concierge. 🥰 I've tried most of your recommendations and they do hold up in my open layout. I've leaned that very few scents hold up in my open area for more than a day. But if I enjoy a scent, that's ok with me.
    Bright Cider Life does work in my home. Yay! It reads bakery to my nose, too - it's just a perfect yummy fall scent. In addition to your recommendations, I've also had good luck with Johnny Appleseed, Winterberry Apple Tea, Dancing Sugarplums, Graham Cracker Crunch, and Maple Apple Bourbon. Cider Mill works in my home, but it's not a boomer in my layout. Yesterday I melted the controversial Fairy Tale Pumpkin. 😬 LOL! I put Blueberry Rush in alternating warmers to emphasize the blueberry note in FTP. But FTP held up, too, in my open area. People will have to decide for themselves, whether that's a good thing or not.
    Have you - or anyone else here - tried Perfect Peppermint in wax? I enjoyed it in the cleaning products and I'm wondering if it's open layout friendly. If it is, it could be my cool-mint-in-the-heat-of-summer scent.
    Thank you Robyn and everyone here for recommendations. ❤❤❤

      Thank you for sharing all the things that work in your layout!!!
      As for perfect peppermint, I LOVE it in Clean but have found it very soft in my house in the wax. I’ve not tried it in my open layout as I can hardly smell it in a bedroom with 2 cubes. It seems to be one of those ones that varies greatly in performance house to house, so worth a try! As Lesley said, she has great luck with it!

    • @lesleyphillips8146
      @lesleyphillips8146 2 года назад

      @@RobynH Exactly Robyn...💕
      It sure can vary in homes.
      I personally can have a different strength between upstairs and downstairs with the same wax.
      It could be because downstairs is carpet and upstairs is wood floors.
      I also use multiple warmers around my home including 12 watt element warmers so I likely get better performance due to the amount of warmers I use.

    Thank you! I'm always looking for strong bars. I added quite a few to my list to try. Blue Grotto is about the strongest bar I've ever used. It almost blew me out of the house. lol. I warmed Scary Good in my small bathroom and I could barely smell it. I was so disappointed because I was really forward to that one. I think I'll try it again.

    • @RobynH
      @RobynH  2 года назад +1

      Interesting - you know sometimes I find strong scents somehow aren’t as strong in the bathrooms either despite those being tiny rooms. I don’t know if it’s a humidity thing, or the fact that the bathroom vent fan is in sometimes sucking the air out of there or what. But I’ve had that happen too with some scents!

    • @sixpacksarah-sjoy
      @sixpacksarah-sjoy 2 года назад

      My experience with Blue Grotto is really strong right out of the gate, then I think I can’t smell it, and then it ticks along for quite a while. So crazy!!
      Scary Good I try to find mixers to tone it down for me, and it’s not working very well. Hahaha. I like it but something (I think it’s clove???) comes out that I have a hard time with. I really liked it better mixed with Gimme Candy, but after several hours that clove smell had me take a break.

    I love Cedar Cider and agree it's OC worthy. I prefer it over Cider Mill. I also love, LOVE Bright Cider Life but find it interesting that it's bakery to you. It's very fall-fruity/cider-y to me. I think it's my favorite Scentsy scent. I also have personally cleared out the hand soaps from Clearance and am set for at least 5 years on that. LOL I'm looking forward to re-visiting some of these fall scents and a few of the new ones. I haven't placed any fall wax orders yet but soon. Very helpful video, esp. your tips at the beginning. ❤

    How many cubes do you use in a full size warmer? If you have 4 warmers in a large room, I was wondering how many cubes were in each warmer?

    • @RobynH
      @RobynH  2 года назад +1

      I do 2 cubes per warmer in the open layout, never more never less. So 1 bar per open layout warm.
      In the bedrooms where there’s only 1 warmer per room I’ll do 2 cubes 90% of the time, or 4 cubes for an especially light scent 😊

    Would you ship to the uk? I'm a uk consultant and would love some of the bars?

    • @RobynH
      @RobynH  2 года назад +2

      Sorry, but you don’t want to deal with Canada Post shipping rates! They’re much higher than the US. What I’d suggest is using a mail forwarding company - there are many out there. They assign you a US based postal address in a warehouse, and then you can order stuff from US sites to be shipped to that address. When it arrives they offer you several shipping options and you can choose whichever one you prefer to have it shipped to you in the UK. They get better shipping rates than individual people do too!
